Im a ranger as well Phil. I have overwhelm and outflank if you want either of those.

Merry Christmas everybody

Did you get mine over Skype Reckless? It said it sent I'm just double checking. Also I just got a job so I'll be late to games. I'll be on at 7:30 instead of 6:30. Not a huge deal. Just letting ya'll know.

Ooo that sounds pretty epic.

Also, you don't have to feel the need to fill out every role. I can easily take the guide role bonuses and still scout ahead without that role's bonuses. I also have a mantis in which I can see through the eyes of. That's a pretty good scout itself. No one has to worry about the Craft Cartography. I got it =) Play what you like. No harm in two scouts for sure and double trap finding makes me feel safer honestly.

I just want people to be creative! Don't feel like you need to fill in a role. Do what you find is fun and we'll work with it. Be open minded.

HAHA The much softer touch is actually the one I had picked out already. niiiice.

Orchid

I don't have any issues with the games we've been playing, play style wise. I will be honest that I have a few worries. This is a highly Role-Play dominate game. So please keep that in mind and pay attention. Its hard to get anywhere when people don't pay attention and we have to repeat everything over again or you get us into pointless fights. I don't want to sound like the meanie but I felt like it was necessary to point this out early. Also, there will be plenty of time to get everyone's voices in so please be patient. Wait your turn and let everyone have a say. It'll get frustrating real quick if only one person is doing all the talking outside of be the diplomat.

Now that all the serious talk is over, My character is Chrysanthemum "Chrissy" Ratfolk. Older sister to Blue.

Chrissy is a Hunter with a little bit of a Roguish edge in her ability to get in and out of fights swiftly and silently. Being a humanoid Rat made her feel uncomfortable with the thought of having an animal following her around under her command; bonded to her being. Instead she went down the vermin path. Most people, Like her sister, think ill of her talents with giant Vermin. Then again her sister hates animals in general it seemed.

She has a Giant MANTIS as her companion. A pretty pink and white Mantis that looks like a big ole Orchid when standing still. Hence, he was named Orchid! As artistic as Chrissy would like herself to believe, following under the teachings of Shelyn, picking names was not her strong point. Maybe it runs in the family.

Even though she is a proud follower of the goddess Shelyn, Chrissy doesn't voice it at all. She believes in the calm, silent beauty of the world. The inner beauty of people, the one not always voiced out or noticed.

Growing up as a giant rat was hard. Most people would treat her as such; A Vermin. She grew a sense of belonging with insects for they were called Vermin too. Chrissy found them as interesting beings with the cool ability to adapt and evolve. They weren't gross, they were fascinating. Too bad she couldn't have a giant Butterfly.

As she got older and found Shelyn, she realized that her true beauty was from the inside and not the outside.

She has a secret love for cute and pretty things. Not shiny things. Pretty and colorful things. This secret isn't a well kept secret from those who know her. She doesn't talk about it but the tinkle in her eye when she spots something colorful is enough.

Growing up with her loud and very...outgoing sister with a huge opinion, helped Chrissy become patient. She isn't one quick to anger, as much as Blue tries. As much as they argue and bicker they've never been hateful towards one another. A strong bond only siblings can share. Perhaps the only other thing that matters more to her is Orchid.

Chrysanthemum had been working under the king for the past 3 years, teaching his soldiers how to survive out in the wilds of the world. Which plants were poisonous, which were edible. How to track and trap animals. Making sure they knew how to find their way back and not get lost. She made it her personal mission to make sure they knew the land they were guarding. Not one flaw in her teaching. Written several maps of the King's land, she could never get lost.

Before working herself up to such a high position, Chrissy worked for the common people. Being a nature guide for the people of his kingdom. Perhaps this is why he had chosen her to become your guide for this mission.

Chrissy is not just a nature guide or just a teacher. A lover of Dance, Music and Art. No, no, She is quiet good with a Longsword with a few magic trick. Plus one Big Ole Bug. Proving herself in more then just one mission for the king. Probably meeting a few of her companions for this new mission in some of her old.

Kodi, I feel like you are over reacting to it. I see it as something new and different. If we mess it up, we mess it up. I would rather be good at one thing, more than anyone else in the party, than compete with them in that role. That splits the party up more then not sharing skills and talents. I have my job and you have yours and we combine our talents into being a great team.

As for gestalt I don't see this being anywhere near as challenging and horrible as Mythic. Especially since its going to be every 2 levels and not full on. Its like a little extra on the side from what it sounds like. I don't see it as a big deal.

Sometimes, its okay to have one person in the group that is the strongest party member. As long as that person isn't an ass about it and lets other people voice themselves in the Role-Play; There shouldn't be a problem whatsoever.

The only thing I might see as an issue is our party's teamwork in the last few games. From what this adventure looks like, it will take a lot of team work to make sure we survive and do our job right. If we are all bickering about who should do what we wont make it anywhere. I feel the roles are necessary and that everyone should have their own thing to be good at.

Awesome! I'm going to be a Hunter Rogue so if you want to do other cool Alchemist things you are free to do so! =) As for role, I don't know yet. We'll see what my stats let me be best at but I'll probably end up being the Scout.

Game?

me either but now there is no server. I'm sure he is working on it. Monday game curse. So weird

same, tried direct and non direct. cant get into mumbles either

I'm excited. Its hard to decide what class to take the leveling path. Its either Rogue for more sneak attack, Ranger for hated enemy or Shadow Dancer for my epic shadow. So hard to decide! If I did take another favored enemy it would probably be dragon or human. I don't do that much damage on anything but giants. =)Ribbet.

I love this adventure. Hopefully we'll be able to finish it this time =D. Nice long adventure. Table top feel. Are we starting this Wednesday?

Good Story =)

Well Reckless you already know my thing ;D but you know me. I like to get stuff done early. I wrote a story for you.

At first glance, she is just a big ole Frog to most. At a closer look, she doesn't seem so silly anymore. Her eyes were red like freshly split blood. Smooth pearl like skin, white as the pale moon that disappeared at her birth. Two sharp fangs are used as "earrings" pushed through her flesh on both sides of her head. These "earrings" weren't the only thing displeasing and painful to look at. Pink craved marks on her skin, symbols of her once whole clan. The magic Leaf armor she wore made the pink tint of her skin to stand out only more. Pray the Gods save you if you dared to pick on her about it.

Born Albino and under a lunar eclipse, Brap was Fated for something great. On the night she was born Giants attacked her Tribe. The village was destroyed and most of the villagers were killed and taken away to be cooked, eaten and Gods knows what else. Her father escaped with her and some of the other Tribesmen (mostly women and children). As she grew up they taught her and the other children how to fight against giants to protect themselves from another attack.

Brap grew up without a mother. She was never taught the female ways of the Tribe or any female ways at all. She was shunned; Thought of as an ill omen. Only her Father at her side. Looking out for her, caring for her. She couldn't blame the Tribe for thinking such things considering what happened at her birth. Instead her anger and pain was targeted at the rest of the world, but mostly on the giants. She trained herself hard to learning how fight and kill the monsters.

Brap knew she was meant to save the world from giants. But she had know idea how right she was until recently.

ToT is the password? lol

We didn't have a game anyway so its cool. Next Monday.

Here we go! First character down!(Firsties)

"Greetings follow companions! My name is Semele the Trickster at your service!"

She gives a deep bow, rolling her hand in front of her with a large grin. Her smile was devilish and alluring with somewhat that of cunning. Her eyes, yellow and foxish, stood out against her coal black hair. She stood at 5 feet and 2 inches. A tiny lass, she was.

She wore little but modest clothing. Green shorts that puffed slightly like the poofy priss pants of most bards. Her shirt was sleeveless and cut short exposing her stomach. Large orange bows rested on the back of her head and shorts with a bright blue scarf wrapped around her neck. Her weapons consisted of two whips on her hips and a short bow swung over her back.

"As you can see, I'm not much of a fighter but I can help you fight betttteeerrr~" She held the note beautifully before letting it go. "I've been also pretty good at tripping with my whips. The boys can't help but fall for me." She winked with her clever smile.

"I'm better at gathering information for all your informative needs rather than fighting. Good at patching you all up if you get hurt too." Semele held her hands behind her back and rocked her body back and forth.

"I've come from the East across the ocean. It was a terrible trip. Would you like to hear the story?"

Before anyone could tell her no she began to tell her story anyway.

"Across the sea~ In a far away land of the East~" Semele hummed softly, balancing herself on one toe looking off to the east. A hand gently resting on her forehead to block the sun.

"I was born in the small human village~" She spun on her toe rocking a baby in her arms gently.

"I dreamed~ Oh how I dreamed to be bigger!~ Oh how my curiosity led me further!~" Arms now around herself she rocked from side to side twisting her body.

"I traveled city to city singing my melodies~" She sang the word melodies high and long.

"My happiness expanded to the happiness of others~" Skipping from person to person she pressed their cheeks up. "Smile for me! Oh happy day that is we meet!~"

"But why oh why are you here though you wonder?" Semele pouted pressing her fist into her cheek looking confused. "Well I'll tell you!" She grinned again quickly.

"One night, the pale moon shone brightly in the sky~" She waved her hands above her head in a long sweeping motion until it formed a circle.

"I dreamed a dream."

"A calling."

"It came to me." Her face was now serious as she made the long pauses.

"I was drawn to its call." Semele pulled her fists to her chest dramatically, like something was tugging on her heart, before letting a hand fly out pointing to the west. "And this calling drew me to the west!" She clutched her heart with her small fist.

"So over the seas I went! Five months travel." She held up five fingers.

"Some nights the waves were calm others the waves pushed and pulled the boat back and forth." She swayed back and forth too.

"My head was being knocked back and forth, back and forth, back and forth." Gripping her head she swayed around dizzy.

Suddenly, she reached out her hands in front of one of her new friends face and yelled. "Look out! A rock formation! The boat was being pushed and pulled towards it!" She walked in place looking like she was being dragged down and it was too heavy to pull away. Her arms reaching up pulling down with all her strength, gripping an invisible rope.

"We were going down!" She fell to her knees and started to pray.

"No!! Not yet I cried!" She jumped to her feet. "We could never give in!" She began to sing. "Pull!~ Tug!~ Strengthen your arms men!~ Pull!~ Tug!~ Strengthen your hearts men!~ Pull! Tug!~ We live on!~"

"Fighting the waves we pulled from the rocks and to safety." Semele sighed heavily as if she was tired and out of breath. "Safe at last. Oh Land, beautiful land! How I missed thee!" She sat down on the ground again and hugged herself again.

Up onto her feet again with new energy she grinned. "Into the western city I went!"

"Eyes bright with excitement for the new area so far from home!" She covered an uncovered her eyes to show bright with excitement they were with a large grin; as if she was playing peek-a-boo with a small child.

"No need to be nervous." She crossed her arms.

"No need to be scared." She shook her head.

"I was called here." Semele placed her hand gently over her heart this time.

"I was called to him!" She pointed to Erroyl. "Bright Auburn hair and Smoldering eyes. Yes it must be him from my dreams!"

"Yes! The one The Lost Kingdom told me to find!"

"He will lead me to my destiny!" She quickly hugged his arm again like how she was at the beginning when they all first met.

No desire to be ruler at allllll. lol

I ruled as a pretty pretty barbarian in a kingdom thingy like this. It was pretty funny. A pink kobold paladin. Loooool. I'll be posting a thingy in the recruitment thingy probably tomorrow or the next day since you wanted us to get introductions out of the way and for us to know each other before it starts?

Well I'm playing a Bard cause I never play them. Bard Kitsune. It'll be defiantly more for the role play than the battle. Very fun character. But her songs and spells will be good for buffing the team. Yay teamwork =) I'll by a wand of cure light wounds or something since I can use items like that.
