What was the delivery method for the pdf?

I paid the $5, but I haven't seen any follow-up for actual pdf download.

When I placed the order for mine, I didn't get the email with the download link until 8 hours later. I reported this to customer service. Also, be sure to check your spam folder.

AI is not meant to be used ever to generate Alt Text. In fact, several of us at Paizo (myself included) spent hundreds of hours overall over the past few years hand-writing alt text for a lot of images that were going up online for the new store becuase the software was auto-generating it. As we stride boldly forth into the future, that sort of "help" is only going to get worse and sneaky as far as how it sneaks into products, as it happened here, apparently.

I'll look into it and make sure that we fix it going forward. I'd rather have NO alt text at all than even one AI generated one... but with some places moving toward legal requirements to have alt text before you can put a product on sale, it's gonna be tricky. It's not a simple task to add alt text to everything, and Paizo's resources for employee time is not infinite..

Anyway, thanks for bringing this up! I'll share it with the team.

EDIT: Can confirm this is something the software did on its own. There's a toggle to turn it off, but every time the software updates, it turns that toggle back to on so we have to go in and turn it off again. Great help from the future, thanks, I hate it.

The AI-generated alt-text on the images in this document is frequently incorrect. For example, the image on page 7 of the bag with human teeth pouring out of it has alt-text that says, "A black and white image of a hat with a red dot on it."

Similarly, the image on page 8 that looks like a disemboweled doll has the alt-text, "A black and white drawing of a doll with a snake for a torso."

The image on page 10 says, "A hand is holding a har with a metal wire around it," when the hand is clearly reaching into the jar, not holding it.

The image on page 12 says, "A woman is standing on a street corner, holding a cell phone." The person does appear to be a woman, and she is holding a cell phone, but there is absolutely no background on this image whatsoever that would suggest a street, much less a corner.

It's also worth mentioning that not all of the images have alt-text.

While I suppose this isn't technically a violation of Paizo's AI policy because it's not "creative work," this very clearly needs better review by an actual human.
