I'm interested in joining the group as well, I offer you Grif Hallisp the quiet and noble berserker. He's a Half-elf Barbarian(Invulnerable rager) and built as a tank. Here is his background and everything else can be found on his alias.

Background:
Grif was born to a Gavern family, a Taldan Merchant family that lives in River Kingdoms in the city of Daggermark, the half elf was a grand surprise to Vors Gavern since both he and his wife are both human. Vors initially was going to kill the child, to soothe his anger towards his wife’s cheating heart. Vors was persuaded by his current Captain of his personal guard (Orten Hallisp) who got the merchant to believe that it would he could use the boy as a indentured servant and avoid a discovery of the child’s murder by his customers. Grif’s mother(Xene)agreed to her husbands judgement and begged for him to give her another chance and he accepted as long she never shows love towards Grif which she easily agreed. The half-elf was raised by the servants of the Gavern house and Capt. Orten Hallisp. Throughout his youth Grif worked hard at his jobs around the house and never winced or cried out when he was beaten weekly by Vors and his heirs. Grif enjoyed his work and didn’t mind the beatings after awhile they started not hurting as much. He kept to himself and proved to be a good listener to the other servants especially in listening to Capt. Hallisp’s old war stories. He always tried to protect the other servants by taking there beatings for them, but on one occasion he wasn’t fast enough and saw on the women housekeepers getting hit by Vors eldest boy, Menas, it just set him off. Grif’s vision went red and started beating Menas half to death, until Orten was able to pull young half-elf off. It all went fuzzy for Grif after that the next thing he could remember was Orten taking him north to Brevoy. Orten Hallisp took Grif to Brevoy near the stolen lands, to try to hide him from the Gavern family. As the years past in the outskirts of the forests,Orten trained Grif in fighting and how to survive off the land. They avoided the major cities for awhile, also Orten helped the half-elf control his anger as best he can. He still gets quickly angered when someone picks on a person that has been nice to him. Through the years Orten got older but Grif looked like he wasn’t aging to much. Soon the time came when the old warrior left the world due to old age leaving Grif alone. Grif took up Orten’s weapon and took his last name to honor the man closest to being a father figure to him. Now Grif Hallisp wanders around Brevoy, doing whatever work comes by from manual labor to mercenary work. He never cared for bandits they reminded him of his cruel father whose merchant business funded many criminal groups, and when he found out he could help start a new colony he jumped at it. He decided to take a risk and go to the city to join the expedition.

Good luck everybody!

Seriously, we could probably pull three full parties or more from this one thread.

Indeed!

I would like to offer Grif Hallisp to join your quest.
The type of role he would take on in the kingdom would probably warden or General. He would take on a role he could use his abilities to protect the kingdom. All his stuff is in his alias, let me know what you think and if you have any questions about Grif.
