About Grau Soldado
Grau Soldado was until recently a well-liked Watch Sergeant of the Korvosan Guard. His habit of drinking while on duty caused him to lose the respect of his men and ultimately his position. He nurses a grudge against Gaedren Lamm, a vile old man whom Grau was never able to bring to justice. It was this frustration that drove Grau to drink.
