About Graft

Having to live on your wits, grows you up hard. No one else is going to look out for you and the kid next to you may steal the food in your bag or rat you out to the City Watch to feed his own mouth. People are inherently self serving, even when it comes to those "faithy" types... may say they are trying to help their fellow man, but they are just trying to improve their image in front of the church and the gods. Magic types are at least a little more honest about it... they want power. Power is raw, honest, and unforgiving. If i can't have it myself, I can be the guy pulling their strings. I was always meant for better than what I have been given so far, but my youth has been a crucible in which a stronger metal has been forged.

The sea calls to me... my future awaits.
