So.. I may be thick, but I do not understand how two of the Wild Child powers work.

I am confused about how Hunter's Tricks work with Wild Tricks. They seem like you need to know a trick with wild trick to use Martial Flexibility on it, am I wrong?

Thank you for your time.

So I am building a rough draft of a brawler for a game my wife plans to run, and I ran into an interesting glitch. When I put gauntlets on the damage is lower (1d3 rather than 1d6), and the damage never goes up no matter how many levels I put on the brawler.

So my question is: I thought that gauntlets were treated as unarmed strikes for all purposes except that they do lethal instead of nonlethal. Did I miss something in the rules? or is this a flaw in Hero Lab?

I know my brawler doesn't need the gauntlets, I was just buying them for the cool factor.

Thanks for any input.

According to the rules, if you are using unarmed strikes without the Improved Unarmed Strike feat, you do nonlethal damage. I am aware that you need to exceed the targets maximum hit points to do Lethal damage, but, what about coup de grace?

follow this scenario: a fighter has twenty maximum hit points and ten points of lethal damage. he gets in a fist fight with someone. that person does 11 nonlethal damage, knocking them out. does that person now get to do coup de grace with their fists? the damage is nonlethal, how does that effect the fortitude save against death?

input please.

What is the likelihood of finding a finding a spell for sale in a given settlement?

Say that I am in a small village (201-2000 pop.), the maximum spell level for that village is 4th, but what is the likelihood of finding that spell? Obviously, if the DM says you can't find that spell, you can't find that spell, but what if he doesn't care? It seems to me that if 4th is the highest level, you should not be able to find all 4th level spells.

thanks in advance.
