There is no such rule.

In 1E, PCs and monsters worked by the same rules, so adding class levels on top of monsters was a thing. In 2E, they do not.

I have a question regarding player races or half-breeds. In 1e you were able to play as creatures, is there such ruling in 2e? I am asking because I would like to be able to play as a succubus again or a half-demon. I just wish there was a way to do that without trying to homebrew a race.
