yes, let us see to the well being of the children, of course this could just be a test of the children to see which ones are strong enough to be of use Glyndon, then looks at the gnomem and realizes such test are not in their nature Then again, I am sure they just assumed it was safe and this is a normal errand.

Glyndon quickly turns to the elf Woah there elf, that is out of line, we have no idea the reputation of these woods before today, perhaps they are generally a save place and one in which children can freely come and go under normal circumstances. It is not your place to pass judgement upon others, especially when you know nothing of the situation before hand

backstory and skills:

And shaping the character and the back story is simulated in what skills you take. As a rogue I feel that Use Magic Device is the best possible skill to have, it did not fit in this character concept, I therefore do not have it.

By outsider I did not mean outside this plane, I meant not a gnome.

Using Backstory to justify not having ranks in skill but still having the knowledge it would provide is circumventing an entire mechanic. Now, if it is something that would come under the heal skill and not the knowledge skill great, throw out a roll IMO, but simply assuming knowledge and GM mindset on the topic is not something that should be done.

Again, common knowledge to a Gnome, does not mean that it is common knowledge to every other race. At least, that is my opinion of it, but I never like to assume how a GM will handle things or control the actions of NPC's, unless of course I am running the game.

While I disagree, what might be common knowledge for ones race may not be for others, and there are numerous things that lessen this game experience for me, this is just one of the bigger ones. A gnome has grown up learning about their race, an outsider does not.

You can really know that much about Fey and gnomes with 0 ranks in knowledge nature, a skill that cannot be used untrained?

Glyndon guides the group towards the gnome and gently sets his end down, The are like know gnomes I have ever seen before. Possessed or quite possibly worse, I cannot say. The camp was empty, except for three like this, the third did not make it.

Glyndon digs into his pack and pulls out the note I also believe that this belongs to you all, I think it should go to the families of the gnomes whose lives, or souls, were claimed at that now cursed place

we can find a large enough tree branch and tie them to it, then we just need two people to carry it

I was thinking so place a little more protected Glyndon states, we should see if the town has some sort of sanitorium.

As Glyndon returns to the rest of the group he states As disturbing as everything is here, I do not think that there is anything else we can find he then gestures towards the gnome we should collect the gnomes and head back to town and see if any more answers can be found there.

In all fairness, Glyndon is confident in his ability to find things, even with his lousy roll, that I was going to suggest reporting back either way :)

sounds like a plan, I am sure the good knight can fill the rest in about what happened here

Glyndon heads off with Tribin to begin a perimeter sweep of the camp.

Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11 to spot any tracks as we make are way around the camp

I figure a 30ft sweep should let us know if anything left

Most likely not, he would have just heard about them during his very infrequent visits to the taverns he frequented. He would be more at home with rangers and druids than anything else.

Really enjoying the group, and I hope that Sir Baltazar does not take my barbs to seriously, Glyndon does not have a problem with him personally. The characters are actually just quite the opposite of one another.

Glyndon tells Porter what he found, I will pass this on to the Gnome who commissioned us, this should go to their families and I get the feeling if we let one of the others hold onto it, the note will never find its way there. Most likely wind up go to the homeless children or something. He then puts the note in his pack,

Since Baltazaar did not actually get any results when he looked at the house and just assumed nothing was over there. Glyndon heads that way hey, you in the armor, did you actually look inside or just pass by the door and pretend to look? Glyndon then looks at Porter, lets move in and check for ourselves

Then, without really waiting for answer from the paladin, Glyndon moves into the house and searches it one room at a time for anything of use or that might help us determine what might have happened.

Glyndon looks at the paladin, how do you mean wrongness? Do you mean they are infected or posessed? He continues on, now looking at the God touched, as a healer, do you agree with this assessment?

He then looks back at the paladin or are you meaning there moral outlook is different than yours and therefore they must be wrong, if that is the case Glyndon lets the last bit hang there for a moment before moving toward Porter.

drop my bow, pull out my spiked chain and attack the one that hurt me. If possible taking a 5ft step to get into flanking.

Seeing as I missed that I was attacked, I would have just 5ft stepped and fired my bow. I did not realize that I actually stepped out of the cover of the forest at any point.

Glyndon attempts to climb nearest tree with a view of the clearing where the gnomes are and pull out his bow

If the trees in the area do not look secure I forgo climbing and just use a tree for cover and fire at one.

If Rosa is going to insist on being a homing beacon, Glyndon moves out of range, +30 feet, preferably in scouting ahead of the group, prepared to move back if I notice any baddies.

Basically I just want to stand clear of the light to try and have an advantage should anything happen

He then checks his flask, nearly empty, he then takes the carefully wrapped bottle from his pack and refills it. He then carefully wraps the bottle back up and places it back in his bag.

Glyndon listens to Rosa for about the first line, then looks at the Gnome I am going to go get a drink, did you want something?

He gets up, without waiting for the answer and walks to the barkeep. 3 mugs of he house special brew and a plate of whatever dead animal you got back there, preferably well cooked.

he puts 3 Silver on the counter That should cover it and then walks back to the table.

He looks at Rosa so, gnomes acting funnier than usual, we should check it out
