Okay, that seems logical to me and was where I was leaning on it. Thanks so much for the input.

I've searched the forums without any luck so I thought I would ask directly. I have a player in my campaign who recently took the Monk of the Mantis archetype from the Dirty Tactics Toolbox book. The player and I are both a bit confused about the wording of the archetype feature called Pressuring Strikes. The intention of the ability seemed a bit murky to us regarding how it worked and I was wondering if anyone could please enlighten me how it should function.

I understand this gives the monk the Sneak Attack rogue class feature, the question is can the monk add this precision damage every time he uses Flurry of Blows regardless of other circumstances? Or does he still need to meet the requirements for a Sneak Attack as listed in the Rogue class feature in order to add the extra sneak attack damage during his Flurry of Blows?

I would appreciate any help and clarification on how this power is supposed to properly work. Thanks so much.

Thanks archmagi1, those are some fantastic ideas! I really like the crypt dragon idea and I will definitely work with these. I had the same thought to use Pharasma's deed as a starting point to work from. I'm still undecided on the deeds, but it won't come up for a bit anyway.

Hello all, I've got a party making their way through Book One still and things are going great. I had some thoughts however that I'd like some input on. Two of the PCs worship ancient Osirion gods, one being Osiris and the other Anubis. I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts about what types of deeds they would perform for these gods should they use the Deific Obedience feat from Inner Sea Gods?

I'm also wondering if anyone has any cool ideas for what a herald of one of these ancient deities would be like? I would like to include an encounter with one of these beings down the road.

Any input is very appreciated!

Okay, given that information I think it would be sufficient to increase the KP's necessary to unlock each level of information to increase the time requirement, along with increasing the CR of any creature related encounters. Thanks so much for the insight I appreciate it.

First of all, thanks so much for the responses.

For some perspective in my preparation for the game, to adjust for the higher APL I have tweaked all the encounters for Books 1 and 2 so far. I compared each based on what it was written for, for example if it was classified as easy, average, challenging or epic for the original party of four APL and then added to each encounter accordingly to make them the equivalent challenge for the increased party level. (An average encounter for APL 4 for example would be easy for APL 5 so I adjust up the XP value of the encounter to make it average for APL 5, and so on...)

It was as I was examining the libraries in Book 3 that I was a bit stumped on what to do with the research. Naturally I will be adjusting all the creature encounters as described above, I was trying to think of how to make the research challenge appropriate for their levels when they get to that point. I don't know, perhaps just increasing the DCs should suffice?

Hello all, I've been preparing to run Mummy's Mask and it looks like I'm going to have 6 PCs in the party. Accordingly this alters the APL by +1. Looking ahead, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for altering the CR of the various libraries that will be encountered in Book 3 Shifting Sands? My initial thought was to maybe adjust up the KP involved in each one but I'm open to suggestions. Please and thank you!
