About Gloomspath the Contemplative
Gloomspath the contemplative was the first to explore the ancient Mysterious Dungeon, and make contact with the ghost of Queen Axellexa the Excellent. He is said to be the most well read goblin in history. Many statues have been raised in celebration of his designs, and improvements that have benefitted the lives of all goblinkind (it is said that there is even a statue of him in the Gnome city of Handlkespittleclackenspiergenburg, in celebration of the rebuilt sewer system he designed.
Upon his passing, it was always Gloomspath desire to serve his queen, and through his concentrated efforts near the end of his life, Gloomspath was raised as a sort of "Less than a Lich", a creature with a material, somewhat degraded body, but with the same active and problem solving intellect he had in life.
Gloomspath now serves Axellexa the Excellent as the chief of security and Door protocols in the Mysterious Dungeon, and his range of knowledge, including spells and spell like devices is said to be unmatched in all the land.
Oh, and he also works part time as a Janitor in the here, and roams the After as a tyrant hell bent on world domination.
