This is my first crafter and the reason is simple, I think it takes to long to craft. I need to know if my GM is doing it right.
Example = Alchemist fire DC is 20 is worth 20gp (200sp) COST = 67 sp to make
Roll (Craft Check) 25 x 20 (DC) = 500
Result is 1 Alchemist Fire in 3 days.
OR
Roll (25 x 20) / 7 = 71.5 sp per day.
Result is 1 Alchemist Fire in 3 days.
Swift Alchemy(SA) = is half the time.
The question is Do I need to match the value of 200 sp or 67 sp.
This is a huge difference especially because I have been trying to make poison for ever, and I still have never produced one dose of poison. To me I should be making it at cost not at sale price.
I need a person from Paizo to answer me so I can change rule in game.
