Hi everyone

We are starting a 1st Ed Pathfinder game using Rise of the Rune Lords. Most of us have played 3.5 a long time ago, but seeing that we have bought most of the Pathfinder RPG books over time cheaply/2nd hand, we are going to us Pathfinder.

What books should we use to create characters other then the Core Rule Book? We do not want a lot of power creep, but still would like a bit more options other than what is in the Core Rule Book.

Thanks in advance.

Getting into any of it and it is the same with Circus Maximus as well. Wonder what the problem is?

Anyone know an email addy for them so I can ask some questions?

I don't think Brian spent much time on the cover at all. Steve Prescott, on the other hand, obviously spent a significant amount of time on it, given its high quality.

Whoops.

They're around 21-22 pages. Running one of these takes about 3.5-4 hours.

Thanks for that. Not bad value then :)

Any idea when this one will be avaliable as a PDF?

I only have one thing to say.

Paizo: 64 page book = 18 U.S. Dollars

WoTC: 64 page book = 25 U.S. Dollars

You do the math.

Yep, and WotC are charging way to much as well.

I would buy more if the product was not so expensive. $US18 for a 64 page book like PC: Classic Monsters Revisited is a little rich.

I know ppl are going to jump on me, but this is my opinion.

Never seen the apeal of American football. Let's play for 10 seconds then stand around for ten mins...oh and let's bring on a whole new team now...

Rugby Union is the game they play in heaven.

Hey there.

Good to see another Aussie on the board. Where are you from? I am in beautiful Bristopia.

I got 9 books from the sale and it came to a total of $61.83, so it seems a bit steep.

Still seems expensive for a 64 page book. Pathfinder is half as big again and is $2 more expensive.

Paizo in my opinion is getting to be an expensive place to buy stuff.

Goodness it is expensive for a 64 page book.

No, they took back what was theirs. Dungeon and Dragon were only licensed to Paizo. So they did not steal them at all.
