Thanks for the great game to both our Venture Lord Tyranius, and to all of you great player-compatriots. Was a very fun scenario.

Gizzard brings the (KO'd halfling / Corpse of Kip) back to the camp and leaves it for Yigrig. "If anyone deserves ta pass judgment it's you..." Gizzard looks incredibly grumpy, but at the very least much more calm knowing the rest of the goblins are safe.

That was non-lethal for what it's worth.

Gizzard watches Kip hop down the steps. ◇ Strategem vs Kip: 1d20 ⇒ 20 Oh the gift of foresight! He nocks an arrow and begins to aim at Kip, then pauses. One more second and I gots me a headshot... let's loose the first at the bad kitty on friend... "Hippity hop, hippity hop..." He ◆ strides forward to get a clear shot, then fires one arrow at the last leopard. ◆ Strike vs Leopard: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16
A split second after the arrow flies he nocks a second and pivots back to Kip. "Now I make your murder-spree STOP!" As soon as Kip's foot touches the floor, Gizzard's second arrow flies. A moments hesitation causes him to shift his aim by a fraction of a degree, and he aims to glance the side of his head. Maybe it kill him anyway... maybe it don't... but paffinder manual said don't kill if you don't have ta... although I kinda hope he does anyways... but least nobody gonna say I dinnit try... ◆ Strategic Strike vs Kip, Iterative: 20 + 7 - 5 = 22

"Night night kitty." He pins the leopard's paw to the ground, then leaps through to find a safer position. Sorry 'bout the late post... It has been a week. I would have just been taking the 'search for clues' exploration action I have listed as my default, looking for signs of life of the goblin, and looking for a halfling to fill full of sharp pointy things. Seems like we have found them in a rather unfortunate state... After a long cold stare, Gizzard finally opens his mouth. He pauses before letting the words come out... less than thrilled with his own thoughts but unable to convince himself to be the better goblin today. "You gotta problem... you come talk. You dinnit do that... and now imma feed you to your [EXPLETIVE REDACTED] cats..." Since the Halfling is my actual lead, devising a strategem is a free action on him. ◇ Devise a Strategem: 1d20 ⇒ 18
He fires an arrow directly at the halfling's head. ◆ Strategic Strike
If that ends up being a crit, shortbow is deadly d10

Gizzard chases after Tiger. "Your gonna find 'em right?" Using Clue-in to give a +1 bonus to Tiger's tracking. Back at Jonas he barks. "Not like we're not gonna be a target when we're not glowing. Anyone who can't see at night should prolly walk with Tigerman. Rest o' us can scurry 'bout lookin for stuff." He tosses Tiger a flask. "Drink up! This one on the house!" Gizzard panics as tiger falls. "Umm... ummm... ummm...Tigerman? You gun' be 'kay?" He looks at the leopard standing over him. Stratego: 1d20 ⇒ 11 He fires off another arrow hoping to knock the creature out. Strategic Strike w/ Takedown Expert: 11 + 7 = 18
With that he rushes forward to hopefully present a more threatening target than his fallen compadre.

Here I go forgetting how my class works again... my attack roll should have an additional +2 for Strategic Strike for a total of 17 to hit, and an additional 1d6 damage. Extra Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 3 Also, if the halfling does show up, would they be considered the subject of the lead I am pursuing?

He should have been questioning our sanity a long time ago. Gizzard would like to arm himself with the shortbow. "Umm... guys... so like... I been told that I shouldn't set everything on fire. So uh... anyone else want the um... forbidden ingredient?" Gizzard has issues with fire. He believes there are only 2 modes for fire. On and off. No fire, or total conflagration... nothing in between. If someone decides gizzard should have alchemists fire, expect full goblin.
Goblin Investigator 1 HP 15/15 Fort +4 Ref +8 Will +4 Perc +4
"Well, the bridge aintnt finished yet... so the cats gotta be jumpin' something or comin' from another side. Plus the halfling gotta cross too. Less he's flying. Ooh ooh... We should make ourselves look like we work here! That way when they come in they think we weak prey... then BAM!" He punches his fist emphatically, then yelps in pain. "Either way, they ain't gonna be dragging folks off and through the river so we should prolly make sure if they do catch someone they have a hard time makin' off with em. Maybe put the pits at the entrance. They sure gonna have no problem gettin' over em on the way in but if they gotta gobbo in their teeth they ain't going back." I'm gonna say put the fence segments by the tents to try to drive them towards more defensible walled structures, and put pits to cover their escape. Gizzard is prioritizing safe gobbos over tools.
Goblin Investigator 1 HP 15/15 Fort +4 Ref +8 Will +4 Perc +4
Gizzard rummages through the captured bandit's gear. "I uh... dun seem to have much things for fightin stuff far away..." Did he have any weapons Gizzard might find useful? After that he does the rounds with the rest of the party. "Prolly also should be settin watches. No 'fence on the guys here but I think if they keep gettin' hauled off in the night we prolly should be the ones up at night. Sleep all day an work all night? Hope the locals dun mind us bein noisy buildin' fences at night..." Inspecting the lay of the land, Gizzard conjectures, "Doubt the fences or pits gonna hold off the cats much, but if we wanna slow em somewhere prolly wanna slow em 'round the tents. Hard ta protec the tents. Ann maybe put a pit near the entrance 'case the halfling walks in?"
Goblin Investigator 1 HP 15/15 Fort +4 Ref +8 Will +4 Perc +4
"Hmm... maybe we can free the kitties? I like kitties too... they like fish! And they not dee oh gee esses." Gizzard scratches his nonexistant beard. "So... we kill the halfling and feed 'im to the cats?" After a pause he adds, "Right... no bein' murdery vagrants. So uh... well... make the halfling go away... prolly by killin him but not necessarily! Then hope the kitties go 'way nicely. Should prolly see if we can find which way they like ta come in... and if the halfling comes wiff em. Time for a little walkies 'round the camp?" Gizzard spins in circles a few times until he's dizzy, then walks straight until he finds a clue. Exploration action: Search for Clues!

Gizzard grins. "Wonderful! See? You got 3 questions! You got the What, then Why, and How! Imma make sure the tribe dun go toooooo hard on you." Gizzard considers the case at hand. He informs the tribe that Brian spilled whatever beans he may have had, but doesn't really bother to check up on his well-being much past that... not out of malice but out of a really short attention span.
Goblin Investigator 1 HP 15/15 Fort +4 Ref +8 Will +4 Perc +4
Gizzard sits cross legged in front of the woozy thug. "Well mister abandoned bandit. Or aband-it? You got a name? See there are lotsa things that we wanna know... and I suspeck that you know at least a little of the lotsa. If ya dunno who, maybe you know what they looked like? Or where ya met? When ya met? Why they want'cha ta beat up these poor kids? How they payin' ya?" He rummages through his bag for a snack. "Hungry? I've got some fresh dried carp! Hard ta think onna empty belly. 'sides... once ya think clearly you probably gonna figure out that if your buddies left'cha here then yer empl... em... people who paidja ta do stuff... dinnit pay enough to make sure you all come back safe... so you prolly gonna want some help wif that." Diplomacy + On the Case: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 5 + 1 = 24 He smiles. "So... how bout'cha pick a couple of those questions and give an answer or two. I think all the little ones here gonna be a lot happier once we got someone else to go poke with a pointy stick." Also, I'll clue in the bad cop for +1 on his check

Ooh! The part where I ignore the GM's instructions as per usual. Gizzard grins. Hey guys! Watch this! He sheds his armor, then pulls out a pair of knives and gets to work on the evenings provisions, transforming a rather bland meal into... well... a meal only a goblin could love. Cooking Lore: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21 I will accept the auto-fail. Gizzard must cook. "I present to you... horse do-overs!" I filled out the macros, but as an investigator I have 'on the case' which can give me a +1 bonus to most of those skills under certain circumstances. At the moment I have not included those bonuses, and we'll need to figure out the scope of my 'case' before we get too far in, but if you want me to add that +1 to any of them I can go ahead and do that. Otherwise it's probably easier to just consider if on the case should apply any time I fail by 1.

A goblin sits down, wearing a pastry hat and smelling of fish. Several cooking knives clank against the seat as he shifts, but the silly grin he walked in with quickly fades at Yigrig's story.
