Yeah, Lone Wolf is totally making that up. That's like saying the Brawler (Fighter archetype) no longer exists and was replaced by the Brawler (hybrid class).

Very true, yet it is a nice tool. As such I would like to see if there is anything I can send back to them and help improve/fix the tool.

Life Link is simply different for the Shaman. You continue to use the Oracle's version as printed in the actual book. You should file a bug report with Lone Wolf for the Oracle's version if it does not match the current print version.

This was a deliberate change. Based on the sharing of names and the fact that Shaman is a hybrid of the Oracle and Witch, we interpret the new text from the ACG as an update to the rules. I realize that many people prefer the old text because the new one is less than useful. If you like, I can give you guidance on how to restore the old text for oracles in your home game, but I can't correct it in the base program.

Which is what made me ask here. Is there any official word on this either way or in writing any place that I can send them?

So being late to the party I decided to try and make a life oracle. When reading the text for the Life Link in Hero Lab it was different than the description of the power in the book, the book was the same as the PFSRD.

So with the coming of the Shaman, and the life link ability they have being vastly different, also taking in to account that they are a hybrid Oracle/Witch, does this new description of Life Link re-write the Oracles ability?

Did Life Link get re-written to be like the shaman class' ability or do we still use the Oracles ability description when running an Oracle.

Which do we use for PFS?
