Gefanin looks around nervously following the group as they move inside the cavern.

He does his best to stifle a scream as the creatures roar, He then searches his memory to see if he recognises the creatures.

He then cast a spell, and a translucent white, blue shield appears floating in front of him.

Actions:

1. Recall Knowledge to Identify Creatures (relevant skills and modifiers are in the sats above)
2. If successful he will relay the information to the party if not he will retrieve a scroll of magic weapon from his voluminous robes

sorry guys had a crazy day yesterday barely had 2 mins to stop let alone even think about a PbP

Garfanin would also like to try and identify the wolves we fought, that is more for his record-keeping than anything else.

On arrival at the camp, Gerfanin would also like to inspect the bridge using architecture lore (+9) if possible to get a sense if Zig's assumptions are correct and that they don't have enough lumber to build a fence and finish the bridge.

As the group approaches the cave and on entering Gerfanin would be detecting magic as his exploration action.

He will cast light so he can see.

He turns to look at the beast and tries to figure out what it is

Then noticing the flames and smoke he tries to douse some of the fire by throwing sand at it. Reflex: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20

Looking around, Gerfanin quickly calculates that his odds for survival on this mission are greatly increased and directly proportionate to the number of other, victims.... ehhh target... umm OPTIONS! the creatures they may face have to choose from. With that, he decides to try and convince the goblins there is nothing to fear.

Well yes actually, our stout friend Mr Crookfeather is quite right. You see the likely hood of you running into any creatures able to eat you in one bite before you can call for help is quite low, particularly in this region, yes Dire Bears and Rocs are quite rare, really you have nothing to fear!

A well dressed human man in his mid 30's, sits in a nearby chair as the merchant speaks, a large leather tome in his hands as he seems to be skimming the pages. He doesn't really appear focused on the goblin's pleas for help, until a furrow crosses his brow.

@shiira not really it's all straight forward, your info looks good to me, there are some tips below where you post with "How to format your text" for OOC or spoiler stuff that can be really handy.

Also depending on how the GM runs initiative (hopefully block initiative) generally you can just post your action in combat and they can retroactively apply it assuming that it's still a valid action.

Basic PbP rules are min 1 post per day, even if your not a talky character it's still nice to post a comment even OOC so people know you're still around.

edit: oh you also only have 30mins (i think) to edit a post after submitting it, it's good to double-check in case you missed something like action or adding a modifier
