no prob, running games is tough and takes time. Thanks for trying. It is a cool idea.

Gerard steps in to attack one as well.

Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21
Damage: 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

This place has things we could probably use, but it seems too big for us to defend well.

yes for the style of game I'm really disappointed with the posting speed. I thought we would be done by Halloween, not still getting started. I will be sticking it out as I post freely through the day from work...but it could be better.

not sure if there are any targets now

You guys seem to be holding up well. I think the bridge accross should be good whenever we decide to go.

More coming in from the office. Gerard continues to make his way down.

let me know when I can enter combat

I was waiting on Lucky but seems no activity.

Gerard helps manuver the stucture and drop it over with the assistance of Lucky.

You got it from here. I better get down there and warn the others to fall back.

Gerard starts to make his way back inside.

ok, so I'm on the roof with Lucky? Ignore previous post then as I would have been helping him.

Get to the roof, we will all die down here. Go I will stay and be the last to come up. If I don't make it I will buy you some time.

Gerard moves up to the front drawing his sword and shield.

Form a line, we must protect the ones that can't fight. Is our escape ready?

Right :)

I submit. So lets get onto the zombie fighting, I thought Monday was going to bring the Pain. I will just sit and drool on myself until we are ready to go.

we shouldn't discuss here but int has ne relation to IQ, there are forum post discussing this.

Seriously its nailing pieces of wood together to cover a distance, yes I think anyone could come up with this especially since INT 7 doesn't mean retardation. the average person has an INT 10 so is it harder for my guy to learn new skills sure, does he understand things he reads probably not the first time. This idea is not complicated and to ask a DC 20 check, crazy. Not being trained in the skill just means it won't stay together long or support probably more than the first person. God skill checks are stupid sometimes. Its like oh I can't think of what to say to convice this guy for help but my diplomacy is a +20 so yeah he helps me. OK rant over. Lets get to killing zombies then since this check is failed.

Well if we are moving to the house instead I can make a bridge. It may only get one of us across, but then we can use the rope bridge. If we take eleven of the crate tops. We lay six out along the roof in a row. Then we lay the other five on top of the six but use them over joinings to support, 3 nails on each side of a support so six nails a support and we use 30 of the nails. We secure a rope and grappling hook to the far/top end. We stand it up. A team slowly lowers the far/top end with the rope as the others hold it in place. I don't know much about engineering but it should get at least the smallest of us across. What do you guys think?

Gerard will take the 4'x4' tops and start to nail up the windows.

Ok, good to know, I was guessing since we were going to the Inn we were in the trees, that kind of makes things much worse to be on the groud with Skizzor being a becon of meat on the roof. Zombie paratroopers without the parachutes dropping down. NNNNOOOO!!!! :)

How big are the box tops? How big are the windows. Six nails a top will get me five tops to use. If I have too, will go to four nails a top to get eight to cover.

@Skizzor, you should realize Solace is the city in the trees, we are all in the treetops. If your not familiar with the area. So makes sense.

Gerard will take 20 to find nails, using the hammer from the office and continue with the boarding up windows.

As we start poping boxes Gerard will user the lids to start boarding up windows as well.

Gerard looks around after there is light.

Umm... I am Gerard. I am a Squire of the Crown. I knew that knight... What the hell happend to him? Seems there are lots of them. The Red Wizard is right. we first must sweep the building. Glad to have you here Skizzor. Yes get to the roof. Get us a tactical layout and estimate of what the numbers look like. Lucky was it? Those doors slide apart. Keep your spear as you may need it. Secure them with some rope, also find something to wedge in them at there ends to keep from sliding open. How many others do we have in here?

If there are regulare non adventure types Gerard will ask them to assist him with opening up crates to see what resuources we have at our disposal.

I am in training to join the circle of knights. My defense is my greates asset. I force my opponets to trie and make a mistake. I also have soldire/malitia experience fighting as a unit, and tactics. Alright lets get ot work.
