The Kingmaker AP sounds interesting; reminding me of old adventures like Test of the Warlords.

The group I'm playing with is using 4th edition, and I was wondering how easy Kingmaker would be to convert.

How much of KM uses Pathfinder/3.5 specific stuff?

I suppose the higher level adventures will be more specific; should I wait until the whole campaign is out before considering this?

I was considering running the Pathfinder adventures for my gaming group, but was thinking of having the game being a bit lower magic.

Specifically, spellcasters will be restricted; they won't be single-classed, so higher-level spells will be hard to get.

So the question is this: Will the higher level adventures assume that the PCs have high-level spellcasters?

Such as: The only way to get somewhere is by teleporting; puzzles that can only be solved by high-level Diviniation spells; inter-planar travel; and the like.

Combat challenges aren't a problem, they are easy to modify. It's plot elements that require high-level magic that would be a problem.

Next session will be the final session of the campaign, with the assault on the spire and the battle with Kyuss.

The PCs are quite powerful, so I'd like some suggestions to make the battle with Kyuss more challenging.

With past tactics, I expect most of Kyuss's spells to be countered, he'll get disintergrated by the sphere of annihiliation, then finished off by the barbarian (and the swordsage) hitting him lots of times.

The group I'm DMing for has nearly finished Kings of the Rift, and they plan to go to the lairs of the dragons they killed to get their hoards.

Have other groups done this?

What suggestions do you have to make this interesting?

Geoff.

What if the PCs decide to go quickly to the Rift (eg the next day), rather than wait a while (giving the bad guys enough time to find out about it)?

Has anyone put together introductory information for the players about Diamond Lake and the surrounding area?
