Spoiler:
Gent will help with the diplo rolls for when he can. I think we should play this straight up with candor.

"I am glad to not have been involved in politics too much. The winter wheat sounds like a solid plan to help the land out."

"I think it would be good to be close to a fire for a while.
Do you agree?
Garyd, that was some quick work saving that woman.
We certainly have quite a morning since coming into this town."

Perception: 1d20+16=33

Gent and Tevin follow in Garyd's 'footsteps' as well.

"Indeed, we shall."
"We'll go with Aerflae then. See you later at the Gryphon."

Gent makes a gesture of prayer to Atroa and heads out.

"We're go will you to the Gryphon then. It would be good to set up our rooms now. After your errand a trip to the 'facility' would be good or find a local magic academy or someone who's been here a long time with magical knowledge."

"We came here by Atroa's guidance. We are hoping to stave off an attack from the shadows."

"I would like to find a place to stay and then follow the sound advice of going to a temple or academy."

"That is good news indeed. Atroa has guided me to you. We are here to help you in a battle against the shadow. Yes, I know... it's cryptic but the gods never spell things out for you.

Well, Dellib might."

Looking towards Korren
"Actually, we have been led to you Korren. If you know of the Storm Riders, a group of adventurers, it would be of great importance to connect with them."

"As of this malefic magic that we experienced, it would also be good to know more about it."

Gent accepts the output hand.
"My name is Gent and this is my companion Tevin."
Gent takes a chair at the table.
"Please, let's sit. It seems that we have something to talk about."

Gent comes over to the group.
"I saw what happened. The mug slid across the table by some magic force. Neither man did anything with the mug. There was a foul magical presence about the room and about almost everyone in it. My companion Tevin, and I, and this group indicating the other PC's were not affected. We tried to break up the fight but it looked like you two indicating the brawlers were possessed. When this fine man indicating Aerflae separated these two the foul magic faded."

"I would pay for the damage as these two are innocent and victims of magic." gives the barkeep 5gp

Spoiler:
That spoiler above for me didn't work... can you repost? (if it matters now)

spellcraft to know that a wall of force was cast. 1d20+20=26

Thinks to himself, this is one of the weirdest situations he has seen.

Seeing how there are others trying to break up the fight Gent says to Tevin, "Go and help them break that up, would you."
Gent casts detect magic.

DM Jester - Could I get an answer to my question above? It will effect what I do. Thanks.

Init 1d20=10

Spellcraft 1d20+20=21
Was it a spell or a ghost or other?
It didn't look like either man did it, right?
I plan on breaking it up.

Dwarven, to Tevin
"Let's give it a few more minutes. We do not seem to be in a rush and we have some home-cooked food before us. They will probably be in better mood with a full belly."

1d20+16=31

Waves to the waitress.
"Could we also get some Cider and ham?

Thanks."

Dwarven, to Tevin
"It seems quiet in here. Not like most Inns."

We will follow our targets and go into the place about 3-5 minutes after they do.

"Sound advice as always my friend."

What time of day is it?

"Tevin, keep on eye on our fellow travellers. It seems they are the ones we seek."

Injured by their powers, drained as such.

"Yeah, several times. I have recovered each time and also developed ways to prevent their vile touch from effecting me. Atroa has graced my body with a bit of True Light."

"Yes well step by step I will get everyones name down. Now has anyone had any nightmares lately?"
"Are you carrying any unpreserved meats?"
"Where did you get that armor?"
"Have you ever killed a dragon?"
"Have you ever been killed?"
"Have you ever been hurt by the undead?"
"How many torches are you carrying? How about gold?"

"I am Gent Hennade, this is my companion Tevin Forwalken.

We haven't had any nightmares recently.
We have some jerky in with our rations.
The armor was a gift to me from a family friend.
We have not had the chance to meet a dragon.
We are still among the living and have not seen Atroa, Dellib, or Zuoken. I hope to have that meeting far into the future.
How would you define hurt? We have battled undead on several occasions and will continue to do so. Their vile presence is not tolerated.
We have a few torches.
I'm am not sure how much money we have at the moment."

“You there, how long has your group traveled together?”

We've been on the road since Urnst. It's been several weeks. But if you mean before that, then it's been years.

"Ever been to Saltmarsh?"

Sure haven't.

"Whats your religion?"

I follow Atroa's guidance. If I may be of service, please ask.

"I hope this line isn't longer than the lunch hour. I would like to get a fresh, hot, but I'll take warm, meal."
