Gell emboldened by the sight of Gorum's might at work strikes fearlessly at the attacking hound.(Attacks using Power Attack, Roll:25 Reroll for crit:20 Damage before crit:9 weapon's crit mod is 2x for 18 damage)

Gell dodges, but senses that the fight is not going well and must do something to change the course of the fight. Moving away from the hounds(Moves to E6) and calls upon the power to instill fear into the enemy(Cast Cause Fear DC:15 on the hound in square B5)

Gell winches in pain, but strikes back at his attacker.(Attack roll:8)

Gell feels a chill run down his spine as the beasts speed toward him. He inches closer to the closest one(5-ft step to A6), however, and strikes at it with his mighty greatsword(Attack Roll:10)

Gell sees his "opponents" and snorts that he is fighting lowly beasts. He moves to avoid getting surrounded however(moves to a5) and grants his blade the might of Gorum's blessing(use magic weapon)

Gell is taking a few moments making sure his helmet is tightly fasted in the hallway to the arena floor. From where he stands he can hear the roar of the crowd, filling him with anxiety as this was his first fight in the arena, and he was unsure of the challenge that stood before him. He took a deep breath and reminded himself of why he was here. He is here as a warrior of Gorum, god of battle, glory, and strength. He is here to worship Gorum as he knows best, to fight and gain glory in the name of Gorum. Yes...

Gell grabs his greatsword and leans it gently against his shoulder. He begins to walk toward the entrance to the arena.

There is nothing to be afraid of. He is a proud warrior of Gorum. Gorum will bless him with the strength to destroy his enemies. In return he will spread the name of Gorum, and gain glory in his name. He fears not, because he is not alone. When he fights, Gorum's might flows through him, and power of Gorum is greater than any foe. Yes... For the glory of GORUM!

Gell walked into the light of the arena floor.
