Bomb (Su): 1d6+3 4 x day Mutagen (Su):At 1st level, an alchemist discovers how to create a mutagen that he can imbibe in order to heighten his physical prowess at the cost of his personality. It takes 1 hour to brew a dose of mutagen, and once brewed, it remains potent until used. An alchemist can only maintain one dose of mutagen at a time—if he brews a second dose, any existing mutagen becomes inert. As with an extract or bomb, a mutagen that is not in an alchemist’s possession becomes inert until an alchemist picks it up again. When an alchemist brews a mutagen, he selects one physical ability score—either Strength, Dexterity, or Constitution. It’s a standard action to drink a mutagen. Upon being imbibed, the mutagen causes the alchemist to grow bulkier and more bestial, granting him a +2 natural armor bonus and a +4 alchemical bonus to the selected ability score for 10 minutes per alchemist level. In addition, while the mutagen is in effect, the alchemist takes a –2 penalty to one of his mental ability scores. If the mutagen enhances his Strength, it applies a penalty to his Intelligence. If it enhances his Dexterity, it applies a penalty to his Wisdom. If it enhances his Constitution, it applies a penalty to his Charisma.

Character Description Spoiler:
Appearance: Wearing goblinfelt piecemealed from leather armor scavenged from several victims of the Licktoad raids combined with the tough weeds indigenous to the marsh, Gawg has a rusty dagger sheathed in a dirty scabbard dotted with colored glass tucked in his worn belt and a strip of leather that he uses as a sling. Gawg is of average height, weight and coloration for one of his race. What stands out as peculiar are the enormous ears, large even by goblin standards, that stick from the side of Gawg's head and the arrays of vials and bombs that hang from worn out belts and a bandoleer that looks like it was originally sized for a human that Gawg wrapped around himself several time. Around his neck, Gawg wears a necklace of burned dog's teeth, his prize for burning Gortle to death shortly after retuning to the Licktoads. While he shares the crazed look and hyper nature of his kin, behind that gaze is a keen intellect that is unusual for his kind. He has a missing pinky finger on his left hand and a webbing of burn scars can be seen tracing up his right arm and peeking out of his armor on the right side of his neck from accidents suffered while learning to harness the bombs he had become known for. Story/Background: Until he reached adulthood, Gawg Goboom was simply Gawg, a goblin like many of the Licktoad Tribe, raised by many and loved by none, left to fend for himself in the makeshift cribs that all goblin children were left in. Not being the strongest or the toughest, Gawg was brutally picked on by the other children. Some nights even fighting for his life. One such night, when he was nearing the age where he would be let out of the children pens, events played out that set him on the path to becoming an alchemist. On that night, Gawg painfully woke to see Gortle, the biggest of the goblin children, biting through the pinky of his left hand and chewing on it. Fear catching hold as he saw his blood spilled for the first time, Gawg kicked out, catching Gortle in the groin, catching the bigger goblin of guard and stunning him with the sheer pain from the blow. Unsure of how to stop the bleeding, Gawg sat there for a moment, wondering if eating Gortle would help fight off the feeling of lightheadedness that was affecting him. Unfortunately, that distraction gave Gortle the time to recover, and Gortle was not happy. Lunging at Gawg, Gortle tried to smash his fist into Gawg's bulbous head. The quicker, smarter Gawg dodged out of the way but was quickly cornered in the penned in area. The ruckus waking the other goblin, they started laughing and chortling at seeing the fight break out. Gortle grabbing Gawg by the throat, lifting him up and slamming him into the pen wall, Gawg flailed about as blood loss and his choking made him go unconscious for a few seconds. His desire for survival was greater though as he came to, jabbing Gortle in the eyes. Shouting in pain and surprise at the temporary lose of his vision, Gortle threw Gawg towards the pen wall, the force of the throw shattering the makeshift walls and allowed Gawg his first taste of freedom outside of the pen. Gortle squinting through blurred vision, screamed in fury as he rushed after Gawg. Fear continuing to grip him, Gawg rushed through the Licktoad village and soon found himself at the edge of the village and continuing on into the Brinestump Marsh. Shortly after getting out of sight of the village he calmed enough only to find himself lost. Tired and low on blood, he did what any sane goblin would do, he began looking for food. Making his way through the marsh, he used his eyes and sharp hearing to pick out small lizards and snakes while doing what he could to avoid creatures bigger than him. While it was not the most sanitary way to stop the bleeding, lunching through the marshy water caked Gawg in mud, with the sludge like mud acting as an impromptu pack to help stop the bleeding from his hand. As he looked for food, he unknowingly worked his way deeper into the southern marsh. Coming across a small clearing with a lone hut, he hid himself as he thought, Look like longshanks village part, but does whole tribe live there? Before he could do anything else, he let out a squeal of pain as a little ratling bit his hand. Shaking his hand wildly in an attempt to get the rat off, Gawg ran out into the clearing and looked around for a stick he could use to get the critter off. Finally throwing the ratling off, Gawg looked up to see an elderly woman standing at the door to the hut. Pausing, fear and hunger took over as he launched himself at the woman, shouting in Goblin, "Longshanks young! Longshanks old! All the longshanks taste good and bold!" Before Gawg got to the woman however, the older woman mumbled a few words and an unnatural tiredness came over Gawg, causing him to collapse to the dirt. Fortunately, Old Megus, the woman that enchanted Gawg, was intrigued by the intelligence she saw in the little goblin's eyes so instead of killing him, she took him in. Though it was difficult to teach Gawg, through a combination of mouth bits, restraints and magic, she was able to scare Gawg into not trying to eat her or her ratling. Realizing he had no idea where he was, Gawg decided to play along with the old witch and see what he could learn. Spending the next several years learning to speak Common and mixing alchemical concoctions, Gawg experimented with many formulas that Megus taught him through spoken word. Learning to use the elixers as weapons, he burnt patches of marshland, and parts of his own body, in the process. The biggest conflict between Gawg and Megus was when she tried to teach him to read. Holding on to many of his goblin beliefs, Gawg resisted learning to read and write until Megus cleverly explained how he would be able to use fire to destroy more things once he learned to do so. His natural desire to burn things winning out, he began to study the written word. The years spent with the witch and all her rules finally got on the goblins nerves however and once night, ready to head back to his village, he used one of his bombs to set the witch's hut ablaze as Gawg went cackling into the marshy night. His new ability to blend magic and elixir together, Gawg was able to make his way back to his tribe. And while not many cared when Gawg returned, he wowed and scared many when he launched a bomb at big Gortle, setting the warrior ablaze and burning the bullying goblin to death. At first stunned, the goblins soon launched into cheers of "Gawg go Boom, Gawg go Boom". Given goblin propensity for repeating words, that phrase became Gawg's name, much to the chagrin of the intelligent goblin. However, back with his tribe, Gawg continued to use his new abilities to hunt, scavenge and cause the usual mayhem attributed to goblins. Personality:More intelligent than the normal goblin, he often plays down his intelligence to hide the fact that he can read and write. However, his intelligence hasn;t helped him in mastering different languages and so he often speaks other languages with a strong Goblin accent. Knowing how to create explosives has fed his destructive nature and he has been know to shout, "Gawg no go Boom! You go Boom!" before launching his deadly arsenal. Though not especially charismatic, living in a society that shuns the written word has taught Gawg to be deceptive and he goes to great lengths to hid his ability to read from his kin. However, he knows how to have a good time and often creates imaginative and horribly sung songs that revolve around things burning and blowing up. Due to his love of burning things, he has gotten use to barbequed and scorched meat and has taken to slathering different sauces, usually made from blood, ground up bone and whatever else that might be edible which he has on hand.
