For me I really didn't feel like the shield/amulet thaumaturge is working, it just feels like a lesser champion more than anything else, so I'll be going full rebuild this time, if that's ok with you?

I would like to give a try to a level 7 guardian instead, kind of following the same idea I had on a shield centric character.

Thurgan, I believe Orc Ferocity requires a reaction - if you used yours with Reactive Strike, then you don't have one for Ferocity.

I'm going to wait for Dr. Q to post and then resolve everyone at the same time. Nobody else has any way of doing cold damage? A frost vial? Cantrip deck? Something to think about for future adventures ...

Garrush follows Pei and is unable to add further information about the room, so he just takes the information she gives him about how to free them in stride.

The task however seems to be too hard for the Iruxi, though with an heroic effort he manages to free the sakhils back to their home plane.

"Halfling?, Where? asks a confused Garrush as he looks around until someone points out Thurgan.

He looks at Thurgan, then his eyes move upwards as he recalls what he knows about halflings and he frowns.

"What did I miss?" he asks to no one as he continues trying to remember if haflings are supposed to look like orcs.

"Wierd mammals..." he finally mutters.

Good point. I just remembered that thaumaturges cannot use shields unless its their implement... which is why I was going to use it in the first place before deciding to go back to amulet because the shield was going to break all the time...
