more round as if disabled. At the end of his next turn, unless brought to above 0 hit points, he immediately
falls unconscious and begins dying.
Traits • Armor Expert (Combat) - -1 armor check penalty, minimum 0 (PFCT 3-4)
• Jenivere Crew (Background)- +1 trait bonus on Acrobatics and is always
treated as a class skill.
Battlefield Morale • Strategic fighting - Gareth will normally attack with a ranged weapon at the start of initiative and change to a two handed weapon when a creature engages him in melee. If Gareth is without a ranged weapon he will charge in if the fight is not overwhelming and if he is not leaving less protected friends, in which he stays to grant soft cover, readying an action to attack the next nearest enemy. If there is something that Gareth can use to get an advantage, such as using walls or tables as cover or high ground and ect., he will attempt to make use of it as long as it does not leave allies unprotected.
• Friends are priceless - Gareth will not leave a friend in danger willingly, and will fight to the death to protect them. When Gareth gains ability to heal, he will not attempt to heal a friend in battle unless he is the only source of healing or if it is an emergency (Near death or close to falling into negative hp)
Concept:
Gareth hails from a small area near the village of Ravendale, a simple community that is not as diverse as your typical pathfinder village. Nearly all of the inhabitants are human, with a few halflings and a dwarf or two. The village has been constantly attacked by a clan of orcs dating back as far as half a century. So Gareth, being the only living Halforc in the village and being conceived during one of these raids, has not had peaceful childhood.
However, when Gareth was at the age of 11, a group of adventures arrived in town, claiming to be from a city called Korvosa from across the sea. In this group was a half-orc much like himself, and this man seemed to hold the respect of his fellow adventures. Not to mention that these people singlehandedly set off and disposed of the orc marauders. Seeing these people, and hearing of their exploits in Korvosa, Gareth was convinced that he wanted to go to that city one day, and become an adventurer that garnered the respect of those around him.
Four years later, after training himself and saving up as much money for gear and travel expenses, Gareth has set off to head to port and take a ship to the city of Korvosa…
Gareth is a half orc with grayish green skin, and has short brown hair that always seems to be unkempt. Gareth has a cattle brand symbol branded into his left cheek, which looks like and “X” with serifs of the ends. This was obtained from some of the older local towns boys when Gareth was still young. Gareth as a low self esteem, although it has improved over the last four years. He does however know when it is important to speak up and to shut up. His wish to become an adventure and become famous, loved or at least respected has made him a bit rash at times.
