For clarity, we'll say player A wants to play a character that creates undead and player B wants to play a cleric who worships a good deity. Neither player wants to cause the other grief, but both would like to explore these options for their character. The objective in this case would be to determine if there is a good aligned deity that player B could choose that would allow both of these characters to exist in the same adventuring party.
Hi All, This question was posed to me the other day, and while my default assumption is 'no, probably not', there are a lot of good deities and there could be one that's particularly pragmatic about it, even if they would never condone it. Any thoughts?
Similar question, Can thrown weapons be used while prone, including an Alchemist's bombs? Prone: The character is lying on the ground. A prone attacker has a –4 penalty on melee attack rolls and cannot use a ranged weapon (except for a crossbow). A prone defender gains a +4 bonus to Armor Class against ranged attacks, but takes a –4 penalty to AC against melee attacks. By ranged weapon, is the prone condition disallowing the use of anything classified as a ranged weapon according to the weapon table, which would allow k-blast, bombs, melee weapons with a range increment etc. or is it all encompassing for ranged attacks?
