Thanks guys, glad you found the idea useful.

Quote:
"My combat spells are spent... my best use would now be to check on Marshkeep, then get reinforcements!"

This is a great elaboration. I could see him cursing himself for his lack of foresight,"but perhapsI showed some kernel of wisdom in seeking your company. It falls to you now. There is no hope of aid for several days. Gods watch over you."

That depiction would make him seem more human and fallible and hopefully more likeable. That is the point after all.

In order to make Allustan look less like a coward, I'd up the number of lizards by one squad and have Allustan throw his single fireball to wipe out the extras. You could send him to Marshkeep to see if there also in need, or you might have him go to Diamond Lake, not for the sake of breaking the siege(that responsibility falls squarely on the pcs), but to inform the garrsion commander and requisition troops to replace the fallen.

113 Queen with the Burning Eyes
115 Steel Shadows
117 Fallen Angel
123 Shards of Eberron Part 1: Crypt of Crimson Stars
124 Shards Part 2: Temple of the Scorpion God
125 Shards Part 3: Pit of the Fire Lord

I think that's it so far. Although people have reported having success with porting 114 Mad God's Key, 121 The Styes, and especially 86 Rana Mor to Eberron. With a little polishing, Rana Mor makes a great Xen'drik adventure. I'd recommend that one over the whole of the Shards of Eberron series, no question.

Perhaps the odd visage of the faceless one was a genetic defect, but the entity residing in its body found the guise a fitting tribute to its moniker. It didn't mind its "demise", knowing that the death of the host was sufficient for the purposes of the ritual and the true Faceless One lived on, although now in need of a new host...

"You can expect, going forward, that we'll print about 6 Eberron adventuers a year and 6 Forgotten Realms adventrues a year."

James, please tell me Shards of Eberron doesn't count as 3 of the 6. As much as I'd enjoy an Eberron adventure path, I realize that it would be a bad business decision. That said, what I've seen of the Age of Worms Eberron adaptation looks like a torturous fit at best. It's not Keith's fault, he did what he could. There just wasn't much slack for him to work with. Add that to the brief and flavorless Shards of Eberron and I'm bummed out. In another thread, Koldoon mentioned that you guys are having a rough patch with Eberron submissions. Is that the case? If so maybe I should give it a shot. One eyed man is king and all that, right?

While the new Dungeon format has been great, I'm not terribly fond of the Shards of Eberron series. My creativity has kind of dried up and I was hoping for some more substantial Eberron material.

I was particularly confused about the wrap up of Pit of the Fire Lord. The suggestion that a certain someone be resurrected just jars with the "death is the end" theme in Eberron. Sure, the ECS mentions that Jorasco has altars of resurrection, but they seem to be items of last and significant resort. It's especially puzzling since the death(and rebirth) is of middling consequence to the overall story.
