Why couldn't he? I thought that in the rules it still allows you to make nonlethal attacks with unarmed even if you have the improved unarmed strike.

From the rules on Monk (since you asked specifically about that):
Usually a monk's unarmed strikes deal lethal damage, but he can choose to deal nonlethal damage instead with no penalty on his attack roll. He has the same choice to deal lethal or nonlethal damage while grappling.

The Monk can switch between lethal/non-lethal as they want, so the sneak attack would be whatever they are doing at the moment.

Like the combo of rogue/monk. Will have to use that in the society. Should be fun. :-)

AM = Unknown. Started by AM Barbarian and picked up by AM Druid, et al. Theorized to be either anti-magic or am as an "I am a barbarian." (AM Barbarian is a build by one of our own showing how powerful a barbarian can be. Amy is the alchemist power build.)

Thanks for clarifying.

That sounds very interesting. Nice touch.
I do believe that this could be fun.

Can these be used in society play?

Thank you Paizo! You have made an old (style) gamer very happy today! I was dreading the possibility of me having to get out of fantasy roleplaying altogether once i ran out of the published material I had (have no real interest in learning a whole new system). You have just saved my game and ensured a very loyal customer for years to come. I look forward to the new system and have just placed an order for the new book!

I concur.

Is there any word on the adventure path after "Kingmaker"? It is just that adventure path will come out around the same time as this book. The NPCs within that path will be a great place to show off what these new core classes can do.
The 7th AP will be "Serpent's Skull" and will take the PCs from Sargava, through the Screaming Jungle, and into the heart of the Mwangi Expanse. It should also deal heavily with serpentfolk! Whee!

Love to have the chance to play a naga or a yun ti.
