My tiger companion is properly named Hank the Tank. He likes it. He wishes more GMs would address him properly in the heat of battle, instead of simply "The Tiger".
Although most GMs have trouble pronouncing/remembering my halfing druid's name Catling (character from Sara Douglass fantasy novels, as are actually all of my characters' names). I usually just respond to anything that sounds similar (Kathleen, Kathy, Cat,hey you, Druid, etc).
As you can see by my first name, I'm totally used to most people mispronouncing my name. Lifelong curse...*sigh*
