About GM PDB

Prep area for running my first PbP game as GM. At the start, looking for some guidelines to blatantly steal from. This are my initial ground rules and links for setting up recruiting. Good luck to future players!

Expectations

My Goal: Establish capability and credibility to run a full length AP in play by post, while gathering committed players and learning the art.

Reading

Pushing:

Link to doomed hero and painlord. Adding my own thoughts from a player's perspective.

I like to play when other players push the action.

It is hard for me to know if I am playing well when others do not push, and it gives more feedback.

I am eager to see the results of things that my character does, and seeing others push brings results faster and also creates things that are unexpected.

I do not want to be the only one controlling the action, or I would just write my own stories.

Frequency:

Daily minimum, with realistic exceptions for real life. Possibly more frequent. See pushing, once that expectation paragraph is written.
