With a quick one-two chop, the green man finishes off the mighty Gark! The magically oversized Orc crashes to the ground in a bloody heap.

Good game! Sorry about the delay to start, work got crazy. It's amazing that with a 18-20 crit weapon, that's the first threat I've rolled in this entire thing.

Gark continues meandering roughly northward. He steps out into the path west of the temple. He brings his weapon arm up to shield his eyes from the hateful glare as he gazes about.

He catches sight of movement inside a wooden palisade on the other side of the path! He quickly drinks the potion in his off hand, and prepares to charge as he grows to a monstrous size!

Move nnw around the temple, move action to drink.

Gark squints and hisses at the sudden bright sunlight. he looks around, then heads out of the enclosure. He draws his blade in one hand, and his potion in the other, preparing to drink the moment he sees someone.

Moving to the path, between the southern enclosure and the temple thing in the center.

The massive Orc flies backwards, landing with a crash! He twitches slightly, then gurgles out his last breath.

And Gark is down for the count. Wow.

Gark staggers back from the mighty hit. What's with him today? He can't seem to hit anything! He flinches as the deathly chill seeps into his bones. I forgot the environmental damage from the last two rounds.
He springs at his foe, roaring with anger! Intimidating Glare again
Intimidate: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7 *sigh*
Attack: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (1) + 10 = 11 SERIOUSLY?
Damage: 1d10 + 14 ⇒ (8) + 14 = 22

He swings comically wide, then stumbles slightly. The dark energy seems to be getting to him!

Gark takes the blow full in the chest. He grins. "HA! Now THIS is a fight!" His eyes fill with with battle-lust, and he screams a warcry as he delivers his next blow.

Gark takes in his new surroundings. "Cheerful"
He spots a strange four-armed creature on the far side of a chasm. Must be today's opponent. He gauges the distance, and takes a running leap!
Looks like 15 feet on the map, that makes a DC 15.
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (12) + 10 = 22
Pretty sure that's just a move action
He lands neatly, and takes a tentative swing at the guy on the other side.
Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10
Damage: 1d10 + 11 ⇒ (2) + 11 = 13

I'm building up to 3rd level, and I can't recall if we had a limit on single item values. I can afford a +1 weapon(2360gp in my case) at 3rd level(3000gp total), but as you can see, it's about 80% of my WBL.

GG. We're all such damage monsters that these lower level fights just won't last long.
Gark sinks down into a sitting position, supporting himself with his blade.

He pants heavily, wondering at his fallen foe. Who knew one could hit so hard with just a punch?

It seems for a moment that Gark has been pummeled into submission, but he suddenly counterattacks!

His blade hits home and bites deep! But the attack cost him, and he coughs up blood!

Gark notices his opponent and moves casually to the south west, drinking a potion as well.

As he reaches a spot where he has a clear line of motion to Grog, he flicks the empty flask into the center of the arena, where the giant blade catches and obliterates it. He holds out his hand toward his opponent, curling his fingers in a "bring it" gesture.

Gark hefts his blade. It seems newer, better balanced. He reaches for a small flask at his belt, not wondering how it got there, or how he knows what it is.

The giant spinning blade was really neat. If he ever left this place, he'd have to figure out how to take it with him.

I'm assuming I'm in the south alcove. How is the lighting in here?

Gark pants heavily, finally looking up from his opponent. He scans across the arena around him, only now wondering where he is. His last thought as he collapses into the dust is, wherever this is, he likes this place.

On further research, I still can't find anything that says rage ends when staggered, but it seems I lose an extra 1hp from performing something besides a move action. Gark is at -14.

I was wondering about the stagger ending the rage as well. I didn't see anything right off, but I'll dig around a little more. And I agree, this was better.

Two orc racial traits:
Light Sensitivity: Orcs are dazzled in areas of bright sunlight or within the radius of a daylight spell.(-1 Attack. I don't think that changes anything, but I forgot to apply it, my bad.)
and:
Ferocity: Orcs possess the ferocity ability which allows them to remain conscious and continue fighting even if their hit point totals fall below 0. Orcs are still staggered at 0 hit points or lower and lose 1 hit point each round as normal.(So he's still up, but limited to a single action, and is bleeding out.)

Gark staggers back, blood flowing from a hideous gash on his neck and chin. He slowly brings his gaze level with Terra, coughs up a mouthfull of blood, and gurgles out "Very nice."

He swings one last time.
Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18
Damage: 1d10 + 13 ⇒ (4) + 13 = 17

CON check to stabilize: 1d20 + 4 - 12 ⇒ (14) + 4 - 12 = 6 vs DC10
Still bleeding, now -13

Current effects:
Rage: +4 Str, +4 Con, +2 Will, -2 AC (4/6 rounds used)
Power Attack: -1 Attack, +3 Damage
Dazzled: -1 Attack

Gark is basically dead. He has a 10% chance of stabilizing, and when his rage ends in 2 rounds, he dies at -14 instead of -18.

Gark roars and claws at his face, trying to clear it of sharp rocks. He sets off after Terra again, laughing. "You are a good fighter, stone-mage! I think I like you! But no more playing." He slips around the pillar he saw her disappear behind, weapon ready. The moment he sees her, he swings!

Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21
Damage: 1d10 + 13 ⇒ (1) + 13 = 14

And just grazes his target. Relatively speaking.

Current effects:
Rage: +4 Str, +4 Con, +2 Will, -2 AC (3/6 rounds used)
Power Attack: -1 Attack, +3 Damage

Gark lets out a HORF sound as his wind is knocked out of him by a rock to the gut. Winded, he is unable to stop his nimble opponent from slipping away! He turns and gives chase, following her around a nearby pillar. He stops a step away, and lets loose a mighty roar that fades into laughter. Now THIS is a fight!

Move after Terra, but at a slight angle, so I'm 10' away from her when I get line of sight.
Intimidate: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22

Ouch. I forgot the flatfooted bit. I was thinking "oh good, I missed. This isn't over yet". But I guess this is what I built this guy for. Good thing we're doing multiple rounds. I'll have my guy step up and roll an intimidate check in the future if I win initiative.
