The sorcerer is not a class option for the Beginner Box, so I'm not sure why this question is in the Beginner Box forum.

3. There are not many that do that, and it only takes a DC 15 reflex save to get rid of the fire unless the spell says otherwise. In other words do it, if you are just like the "cool" factor, but don't expect for it to be too useful.

How much reflex save does it take to avoid being staggered from a air elemental sorcerer? I also decided to go fire because i heard that many creatures are fire based and or do fire damage, so i was thinking if i went fire the elemental resistance i get at lv 3, 9, and 20 would really help. If the previous sentence correct ^, is there any reason other than personal preference to pick anything other than fire?

advice: go with human, with the favored class rules they can get extra spells known every level (not of their top level spells at the time, though). at the lowest levels you will probably just want HPs/skills since bonus cantrips aren't that exciting, but once you can get free REAL spells known that way, it's a great option (that you should take at least half the levels, even if you want a bonus skill rank the other half).

I thought that human with favored sorcerer class gets +1 hp or +1 skill point

New to playing Pathfinder and i just had a few questions on my mind

1) Why is it that certain spells aren't listed in the core rulebook, for example Elemental touch? And will i be able to use these spells?

2) As a sorcerer are the spells you choose set in stone or can you change your spells before each session?

3) I chose to be a fire elemental sorcerer over electrical because i thought it would be more interesting to set creatures ablaze than to stagger them and i was wondering if there were any spells other than elemental touch that would allow me to do so?

PS: Any additional advice/heads up would be greatly appreciated
