You could make him have a level of blood rage. Elemental cold. You could even add in crossblooded for undead later on. It'll give him some extra damage. As a bit of extra goodness why not give him an aura of cold 10ft away they need to make a fort save or rake some minor cold damage maybe even get staggered. Have his sword be made of ice. Same with his armor.

I'd say focus heavy on the fluff for this. I think that would be more likely see him as a master of cold rater then the mechanics.

Best of both worlds. Oracle with a spirit guide archetype. I'm finding it to be an excellent healer who can mix it up if the healing gets boring

The magus being the only class that can full attack is not quite true. The war priest can too it's just that he can only cast a self buff and full attack

I'm doing a kensai/Blade bound magus with a dip in swashbuckler. Having 3-4 1st level pearls of power was a must but I play him as a fighter for the most part until he novas. Focusing on the high int also gave him a lot of skills so he is actually quite handy out of Combat as well.

Grab a dwarven boulder helm. It counts as a martial weapon and let's you threaten in the close squares. It also gives +2 ac against crit confirmation. If you find you got an extra feat you can use weapon focus to make it do sacred weapon damage. Lastly you can headbutt things to death which is its greatest strength imho.

Toughness works. Diehard also has some good flavor. I would make tthe argument for half orc race though. Prominent lower jaw. Butt ugly.

Ever think of giving the baddies some mythic templates? I did a mythic campaign as a player and mythic enemies can really throw you for a loop

Gm re rolls takes worse result. If using random treasure how but re rolling the magic property.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Try playing up the all knowing noble. You don't have to be the face either. You are the puppet master. Pulling the strings of the group to achieve yours (and maybe the groups goals). Lawful evil is fun to plan and, oddly ENOUGH, is an alignment that usually gets things done.

Well if its a magic utopia why not have some sort of dispel magic mechanism. Maybe attune a wand of dispel magic that only works on the environment

Combat wise i think i want to try and get that sneak attack but when i can't i try to buff myself or, even better, my allies. Role playing wise She wants to try and get everyone to fall in love but she doesn't want anyone to know its her hence the stealthy part. Also the campaign does not have the gods as pathfinder knows them so I'm free to choose whatever domains I like.

Thanks for the reply dead. I think I want rogue for a bit of the flavor the hiding in the shadows and helping people fall in love angle. Also I went dual dagger because that screamed rogue to me (yes I played wow before any tabletop game :) ) I think I still want some rogue goodness but will dial it back a bit and grab more levels of inquisitor.

So I’m starting a mythic pathfinder adventure and we should be getting to level 12.The idea is to make a rogue ish character that is obsessed with love and making others fall in love fro the shadows. So sneaky stab when i can but buff myself and allies when i can’t. I’m allowed any book from anywhere. Mythic powers will start taking affect at the 3rd level and then well see where it goes from there. So here is my rogue build so far. I’m completely open to any advice But i do want to stay rogue inquisitor. I’m just not sure exactly how the best way to get there is...or if its really the best plan in the first place.

Rogue KNIFE MASTER SCOUT inquisitor

I’m not sure what else i with get for mythic tiers but I’m thinking two weapon fighting (Mythic), and dark vison (Mythic) are nice mythic feats to have and dex gets bumped at every occasion

Domain Choice:
Really Thinking love but conversion Inquisition has a nice buff to my cha skills...but there are 2 other faces so not sure how great this is. I follow the idea of love so I can take anything really.

WEAPONS OF CHOICE:
Daggers. I’m open for what to enchant them with but they seem the best choice for a knife master

Magic of choice:
Self and party buffs and of course invisibility

EQUIPMENT:
Dex belts and wisdom head slot other suggestions?

Open to any and all suggestions. This will be the first pathfinder campaign so i have no idea what to really expect I just used hero builder to the best of my ability. :) Please judge and let me know how it goes.

I think I'm going to go with my orginal concept switching out reactionary with dangerous curious, and maybe moving some wis/cha to str. I am going to take your advice about eh dark wood bow. First game with him tomorrow. thanks for all the help everyone.

I'm working almost exclusively from teh core guide so I don't know any of the extra feat type stuff :)

I went with a int of 7 because i figured if i want to dump stat something might as well go big but i do have 3 skills :( i guess I'll drop the diplomacy for now.

in terms of bow I can still just buy a masterwork i think as i actually haven't made this character yet so i THINK I have enough for that masterwork... will be close though after some much needed sleep I'll crunch the actual numbers :)

I only have 1 pp as fallen fortress was teh module i played and that only gets 1pp for completing.

I might change out reactionary i went with it mostly as i was told that i should be as high as possible to squeeze every bit from teh buffs but i wouldn't mind something with a bit more flair :)

Thanks for teh votes of confidence guys (esp. YiM glad you liked it)

Hi I'm new to PFS although I've played some other pen and paper games. I recently got involved in a society game and used a the cleric pre gen. I've recently made a cleric archer type charater (with the 479g from my game) and the below is the result. I'm tryng to focus on healing and bluffs with somewhat decent ranged damage. without further ado

Race: Human
God: Shelyen Domain Luck, Good, Domain spell Protect from evil
Faction Andoran
Str: 12
Dex:16
Con:12
INT: 7
Wis:16
Cha:14

lvl 0: guidance, mending, detect magic
lvl 1: bless, Comprehend language (usually converted to cure light wounds)
Skills: Dipolmacy, Heal, profession(courtesean)

Feats: point Blank Shot, Precise Shot

Weapons; Glaive, composite longbow +1 strength
Armour:Scale mail

I don't play a lot so it might take me a while to level. eventually i was think of getting rapid and many shot filling out all teh archer stuff then moving onto more casting type stuff. Any advice is appreciated.
Trait: Hunter Eye, Reactionary
