There's actually an small issue with your construct: rapier isn't one of the accepted weapons on the list of Perfect strike ;only kama, nunchaku, quarterstaff, sai, and siangham are allowed to perform a Perfect strike. Check it with your DM if he wants to expand the list of allowed weapons to include rapiers and other non monk-typical weapons.

Hi there, sorry for the confusion. What I meant there is the Mythic Ability Perfect strike. I can't edit it now. so yeah.

Mythic Perfect Strike is worse than Mythic Gr. Vital Strike.

normal: 1d6+29 (extra +21 on critical hit due to Mythic Power Attack)
with Perfect Strike: 2d6+58
with Perfect Strike and x5 critical hit (ie: x6 critical): 6d6+174+126 = 6d6+300

On a critical, 6d6+300 is significantly less than Mythic Gr. Vital Strike's 8d6+367.

As for Mythic Power Attack's damage being doubled, I did that when I wrote "+21 more to BASE damage on a critical due to Mythic Power Attack".

Ok, if your normal damage is 1d6+29 (including Mythic Power Attack's +21) then we have the following:

Normal attack w/Power Attack: 1d6+29 (+21 more to BASE damage on a critical due to Mythic Power Attack for a total of 1d6+29+21 BEFORE calculating the x5 from the critical)
Mythic Greater Vital Strike w/ Devastating Strike: an extra 3d6+87+6
Critical Hit w/ Devastating Strike: an extra 4d6+116+105+24

Total: 8d6+367

Put another way: you are at x4 (Vital Strike) and x5 (Critical) for a total of x8 +5*Devastating Strike
Totaling that this way: (1d6+29)*8 +(21+6)*5 = 8d6+232+105+30 = 8d6+367

The reason for it being x8 and not x9 is this: Both the x4 and the x5 share the original 'base damage'. Base+3 + Base+4 = Base+7 = Base*8

how about if I use Perfect Strike(Champion tier mythic ability) instead of vital strike? it says i will double the normal amount of damage

You can expend one use of mythic power as a standard action to deliver a perfect strike. A perfect strike attack is made using your full base attack bonus. If the attack hits, it deals double the normal amount of damage, and this damage bypasses all damage reduction and hardness. If the perfect strike is a critical hit, increase the critical multiplier for the attack by 1 (so a ×2 weapon deals ×3 damage). Damage that isn't multiplied on a critical hit isn't multiplied on a perfect strike. Perfect strike can be used in conjunction with any champion's strike if you expend uses of mythic power for each ability separately.

and the mythic power attack states that if the attack is a critical hit. "the bonus damage from this feat is doubled on a critical hit"

Prerequisite(s): Power Attack.

Benefit: When you use Power Attack, you gain a +3 bonus on melee damage rolls instead of +2. When your base attack bonus reaches +4 and every 4 points thereafter, the amount of bonus damage increases by +3 instead of +2.

In addition, the bonus damage from this feat is doubled on a critical hit, before it's multiplied by the weapon's critical multiplier.

You can expend one use of mythic power when you activate Power Attack to ignore the penalties on melee attack rolls and combat maneuver checks for 1 minute.

You did not specify Mythic Perfect Strike, yes, that is incompatible with Vital Strike for the reasons that DoubleBubble stated.

Unfortunately, you can not us Vital Strike and Perfect Strike because Vital strike uses an Attack Action which itself is a standard Action on its own, perfect strike uses a standard action as well. So you can no use both. I hate it so much because I like Vital Strike, and it should work with any attack that uses standard action against a single target.

thanks :) let's say i didn't use the vital strike, what will be my formula to calculate the damage dealt using perfect strike, power attack and a critical hit of x5? I'mm getting confused about the perfect strike (mythic ability) that it will double the natural damage.

ikr, we should be able to use it that way, it'll be a good damage with vital strike.

Hi, we're doing a high level mythic campaign and my dm said i can use these together:

Greater Vital Strike (Mythic Vital Strike)+ Devastating Strike + Power Attack (Mythic(-7/+21)) + Perfect Strike
I'm confused on how to calculate this things. I'm not good with math.

I'm using a rapier 1d6+29 and what if my attack is a critical hit? my critical multiplier is x5. can someone give me a hand on how I can calculate? Sorry for my english and thanks in advance
