Shield marshal is an acceptable alternative for fun gunslinging. Open door, shoot, close door. Proceed to giggle at confused NPCs.

Next level..

Next level...

Oh so much fun..

So many judgements.. so many note cards to keep them sorted...

Forget notecards, I have to have a spreadsheet.

Mysterious Stranger, Picarroon, Sleuth, Mysterious stranger.

I have 6 swift actions and 5 immediate actions I can choose from each round.

And the number of different ways I have to spend Grit/Panache/Luck is matched only by the number of ways I have to get it back...

I don't know. I do all right. I mean, aside from that fellow from leng, I haven't killed anyone yet, but then, that's not really my job. I am more a bring them back alive sort.

at 8th level, 2 shots a round, 1d8+1d6+15 each, at touch AC wears down enemies pretty quickly. And being able to move and still get both shots off means I can kite if I need to. And I can do it in the surprise round, whether I make my perception or not. And I can ready to do it if the big bad casts a spell, in which case I get my grit back...

Also, most ppl are unhappy with the nerf to Double Barrelled Firearms,
I don't think that is true at all. Lots and lots of people loved the nerf. Many of the gunslingers with double barrelled guns hated it, of course, but that is normal for a nerf. And some of the gunslingers thought that the nerf was warranted.

Put me in the camp that thought it was a needed balance. I am quite happy with it. I can move and get two shots off, or I can full attack. Works for me.

I can't be bothered to argue this one. I'm too busy moping about the fact that bullets have been singled out again for no love.

I vote for the just use the same cost for arrows, bolts, and shurikens side of the arguement.

Silver Crusade

Because While I am a genius with two weapon fighting with a piercing weapon and a pistol, I still only have two hands, and I need to reload. So until I can afford a glove of storing, a cracked white opalescent ioun stone, and a +1 Keen Wakusashi, I am using a cestus so that all my "When fighting with a light or one handed piercing weapon and a gun" deeds and class features still work.

the plan is to have a character who at 9th level has a +16 init mod, can draw a piercing weapon and handgun as part of initiative, and always acts in the surprise round, and with slippers of swift action gets a move and a standard in the surprise round. And as a side benefit can open doors as a swift action. Fastest gun in west.

When ambushed, I should be able to get 2 shots off with my double barrel pistol and get to cover before anyone else can act.

With the glove of storing and an endless bandoleer, he will not be carrying any visible weapons.

Yes, but we don't have to follow the laws because whatever we do is the law.

not actually a shieldmarshal for 2 more games.

Silver Crusade 4/5 ****

In 5 more games, I plan on buying a shieldmarshal of Arkenstar badge (Because I will be a shieldmarshal at that point. )

50 gp, Masterwork tool
+2 to intimidate when ???

I am inclined to "when in Arkenstar" but I am not sure if I am being unduly harsh on myself.

Alternately, "when dealing with gunslingers" (I am a gunhunter after all)

Opinions? (The point is not to have something mechanically awesome. The point is to have a sheriffs badge, and represent it mechanically as well as I can.)
