Just curious for those of you who have purchased LotFW if there were any goodies in there that could be added to spice up any of the Kingmaker books.

If a Free Hand Fighter has the Shield spell cast on him, does that negate his Free Hand abilities? I'm assuming not, because he's not actually considered to be carrying a shield and his other hand is still considered free. Am I correct in my understanding?

After a quick search I wasn't able to find an answer to my question. So here goes:

Can the Leadership feat be taken more than once?

My group and I are wrapping up book 3 of Carrion Crown and I was getting bored with my Cleric of Sarenrae just pump healing and channelling to dust undead. So I took the Leadership feat so I could play a cohort bard/fighter/dervish to get in on some melee action. Enjoying combat much more.

Anyways, so we just hit 9th level and I was wondering if Leadership can be taken again for another cohort? I didn't see anything in the feat that didn't say you couldn't, but thought I'd ask before I even bother approaching my GM.

Thanks!

So our group is gearing up for WotR here in about a week. Since it seems to be heavily hinted at in the PG that there be a Paladin, and no one else has offered in our group, I'll be taking on the role of a Paladin of Iomedae. It's been a few years, so I'm actually looking forward to playing one again.

That being said, as I understand it from the PG, I hear there might be a chance of some demon/devil folks popping up in this AP. ;-)

So I'm thematically interested in the Sacred Shield/Guardian combo for obvious reasons. In reading the "Heroes of the Fifth Crusade" thread (I try to stay away from the spoiler threads), obviously a ton of Paladins in there. Here's my question for all of you who've played through this AP with Paladins (or not too!):

Do you believe some fights might have been lost if the Paladin didn't have the Smite ability to bypass DR?

(and yes, I understand that APs aren't designed around one specific class ability, merely curious to hear some opinions/experiences)

Is there a way to protect against a wraith's touch attack?

Yes, I know monk aren't tanks, but I'm looking for the best monk build for my AC buck.

Which combo of feats, Styles and Archetypes will get me the most?

Thanks!

My Monk just hit 7th level, I'm really wanting to pick up the Greater Grapple feat, but can't until 8th level. Is there any ruling that says you must spend your feat immediately? Or can I "save" the feat slot until I hit 8th?

Does it come out at all later in this adventure path what happened to House Rogarvia? Or is it just background story crunch? (I've only purchased the first two APs so far.) Thanks.

When employing a tower shield in combat, you take a –2 penalty on attack rolls because of the shield's encumbrance.

Does this change if the Tower Shield is made out of Mithral?

Trying to wrap my brain fully around the Magus.

Let's say I cast Shocking Grasp using Spellstrike and I use my handy dandy scimitar to deliver the spell. I understand I'm delivering the touch spell via weapon, but this is where it gets confusing for me. Am I rolling versus my opponents normal AC (because it's now a melee attack) or am I rolling versus their Touch AC (because it's considered a melee touch attack now)?
