Marathon Voter Season 9

We're giving up our social lives, our responsibilities, and our sanity for the sake of voting hundreds, or sometimes thousands, of times on a random-pairing vote system for Pathfinder magical items. For most of us, bragging rights and experience will be the most substantive things we'll be getting from this.

So here's the place to show off - and to start...

WOHOO, STAR VOTER! I'm coming for you, Champion title! Take that loved one's who are concerned about where I've been the whole day!

P.S. Let's all remember it's far more important to thoroughly examine the items that are presented and make as informed a choice as possible when selecting the best of the pair. Numbers come second... but second place is still silver :)

Perhaps it is a silly observation, especially in recognition that Pathfinder is shifting its focus away from prestiges. Yet I find it a little sad that while the Golden Legion and Steel Falcons have prestige classes that the third wing of the Eagle Knights, the Twilight Talons, have been left woefully by the wayside. The concept itself is a fun one - freedom fighters from the shadows - and grants one the option to fight slavery more clandestine-like (as perhaps a rogue or ranger?) rather than the armored behemoths of the Legion or the inspiring commandos of the Falcons. Certainly their secretive nature would preclude many from joining the Talons, but they would hardly be the most clandestine or secretive order to operate in the Prestige list and the option, I think, should be there.

Any word as to why we lack that prestige, or when we may see one? Or, if we want to get fun with it - what such a prestige may look like?

Hey, so in a campaign i'm running one of the players wants to play the swordlord archetype. I was reading it over and I noticed that the lore notes that the swordlords rarely fight in medium or heavy armor, for which they still have proficiency. And the whole class is built around the dueling sword- which itself seems more or less built around a prohibitively taxing, and-generally-less-good-than-the-alternatives feat tree to get to dueling mastery, a tree that is just as easy for any other fighter to get to as it is the Aldori. This seemed ridiculous to me. So i was thinking it would be an okay little change to say that Aldori get EWP (Dueling Sword) for free, but in turn lose heavy armor proficiency.

Thoughts? Does this seem fair? balanced? Should I remove medium armor proficiency as well? Or does it work fine as is and I should let the player work with it as written?
