Fitz pulls the aspis's shuriken out of his shoulder with a grunt, then backs off to lets the people with bows deal with him, instead moving towards Nighteyes. (Double move)

Is blue still on the roof (the 'on the roof' label on the map has disappeared)?

"Nighteyes, tear their throats our!" Fitz calls.

"With me, my friend." Fitz says quietly, moving to a defensive position near some stacked crates, and readying an axe in each hand, prepared to strike at anyone who comes within reach.

Always more comfortable dealing with animals than with humanoids, Fitz and Nighteyes wait quietly in the shadows to see how the Kortos agents react.

Crouching low, making himself small and unthreatening, Fitz cautiously approaches the dog's cage. He sits in front of the dog and waits patiently, letting the creature growl until it begins to accept that it is not in danger.

"Nighteyes, get behind him!" Fitz calls to his companion, while stepping to the side and swinging his axe again.

Handaxe: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20 for: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8

He then grabs his second axe from his belt.

Catching Shisen's eyes for a moment, Fitz nods, then looks away with a slightly confused expression, not sure what he was agreeing with.

Reaching down to ruffle his companion's fur behind the head, he focuses on his bond with the wolf, and asks softly, "anything about this place smell off to you?"
