Fishhook looks around to make sure no more sharks are coming in for his bait, seeing none Fishhook tries to direct the shark to the net postion, "Know if net no work then Fishhook's spear there!"

Fishhook stares at the big dark shadow that swiftwing tells him about and tries to get a good idea what kind of sea creature it is.
And will try to swirl it around to seem more enticing to the bigger creature. And puts his finger up to keep the group silence
Fishhook puts the bait on the line and readies his longspear and his nets just in case the hook has trouble. Fishhook will cast out the meat and began to play the waiting game....
Fishhook will go to the edge of the and ponder what the best method to catching these creatures. He breathes in the salty air, and lets his training guide him to the best method of catching lizards.
Fishhook takes the chunk of squid and says to the cook, "Fishhook thanks stew cooker! Fishhook maybe able to get lizards for Lizard stew, mmmm mmmm yummy." He gingerly skips out of the mess hall with the meat excited he gets to fish, and rushes to the quatermaster to get his fishing gear.
Fishhook follows Zochel, and when they come across the galley he comments as well,"Fishhook Fishes! Fishook only needs old meat, squid from first night works!"
"Fishhook no need to sneak, Fishhook just get the meat. Why wouldn't cook give Fishhook meat? No sneaky sneak." Fishhook questions his two mates.
Fishhook gives a confused look, "Where do Fishhook get this meat? Do lost card men have any?" He asks the two gamblers hehe.
"Do the Lizards only eat man flesh or other? Fishhook got in mood for that stew so Fishhook needs to know what bait to set up so Fishhook could catch Lizards." Fishhook asks Grimb since he seems to be the expert on these Lizards.
Fishhook happily eats his food, food always tastes better to him after a hard days work. As he is chewing he tells his gambling buddies what happened, "Screamer tried to stop Fishhook's work, Fishhook say no. So screamer play wit little man. Then Lizards make Fishhook mad, and Lizard's deceide Lizard's no want to be ingredient in Fishhook's stew. So Lizards ran away, THEN FISHHOOK FINISH WORK! AND BEAT SCREAMER IN COMPETITION!!!" Fishhook spits food as he annouces he finished his work.
Seeing the child raise the spear to Bosun, Fishhook thought one thing, Fishhook will not be up staged! Fishhook quickly grabs a big wooden support beam he collected from the village. "Look Fishhook's find is bigger and better then screamers little spear, SEE BOSS. FISHHOOK DO GOOD!!!!"
Seeing the child pick up the spear Fishhook thinks to himself at least the kid has a work ethic, not realizing it to defend againist him. He then looks to Zochel and seeing still not working he yells at him,"See little man, the screamer child knows its time to work. So get back to work!"
Fishhook gives a ROAR to there retreating backs and when they are out fo sight, moves back to work as fast as he can. "Hurry Lizards make Fishhook and Friends late, hurry hurry!" After he gets his stuff done he will help the rest with there loads. As the group looks at him weird for not following, he gives his tusky grin and says,

Fishhook moves closer to them, each step a stomp of anger. They can see in his eyes that the big orc is full of rage. He believes they are trying to make him look bad in front of the captain and he forgot about the town being destoryed to focused on work.
As he see's the kid fall down he starts to wag his finger at the screamer as if he was scolding it. "No interupt work! Fishhook working no play......." He starts to quiet when the lizards arrive, and as they brandish there shortspears he will grab his longspear. Then look right at them "UGLY LIZARDS TRYING STOP FISHHOOK'S WWWWOOOORRRKKK!!FISHHOOK STOP LIZARDS!!!!" At this time Fishhook's face starts turning red since the creatures are trying to stop his work.
After seeing the other two drop there supplies, Fishhook looks in wonderment towards them. "No resting, Finish Job! No play!" Fishhook will start moving with his bix crate full of scrap wood towards the ship.
"Fishhook watch for Mobs!" With that the orc grips his spear trying to be ready for anything that will try to attack his crewmates or worse try to stop his work!
As Bilson asks them if they have any ranged weapons he preps one of his Javlins. Then looks at the dwarf and says, "Sorry Boss, is Fishhook rowing to Fast for you?" and gives his unknowing smile.
Fishhook eagerly grabs the other oar and rows with all his might. "Little man no worry, Captain has it under control!" Fishhook responds to Zochel cheerfully.
"Fishhook excited! Only a select crew was chosen for job AND FISHHOOK GOT PICKED!" Fihhook says with his customary smile, and jumps up and down like a kid waiting to open his gifts. He gets his gear together and stands at attention for Bilson trying to hold back the excitment.
Fishhook yells repeatedly until he finds his two shipmates. He is overly excited that there are no mobs and the captain wants them to do a special mission(in his eyes).
"True True, birdy pretty wise. Goblin lucky, its birdys perch." Fishhook responds to swiftwings words of wisdom.
"Fishhook Glad and sad, Glad no mob waiting for Fishhook but Sad no new people to meet." Fishhook mutters to himself more then anyone else. Then gets back to work, hoping he will be picked to get supplies.
Seeing the lights on the island Fishhook mutters to himself,"Fishhook hopes thats not mobs." Fishhook will stay up top as much as possible to see what is on the island as soon as he can to make sure its not a mob.
Fishhook does his duties with a smile and upon hearing Zochel talk to himself Fishhook responds,"Thats why Fishhook love this life, cuz on land villagers aways find a reason to form and mob and run Fishhook out of village. Just cuz Fishhook just finished cleaning fish and go wash up then little girl scream.....it just makes Fishhook head hurt." Fishhook trails off and goes back to work.
"But how else is Fishhook suppose to cover Fishhook's head from bird droppings? Fishhook laughs and waits a little bit before putting the halfling down laughing the whole time.
Fishhook picks up Zochel and puts him on his shoulders and grins at the land in the distance. "Good View Little Man? Fishhook think if birdy gets to sit on goblin then Little Man sits on Fishhooks shoulders!" Fishhook says. "Good to be on boat again and Good to have Crew again." Fishhook says lightly.
"Card? No I haven't seen a card what kind of card?" "LITTLE MAN KNOWS! THE CARD,THE CARD, the card that Mack lost!" Fishhook yells back to Zochel, after that Fishhook will go back to helping with the labor. Looking at the flesh of the krakken Fishhook wonders if it tastes like squid or more like aboleth.
Fishhook looks up to the warrior with a big grin and says,"Glad to help Swordman!" He suddenly springs up and looks around seeing the halfling and rushes over, "Little man okay? Has little man see card? Mack looking for card." He will help up the two up, and then start to clear the boat so Little man can get to work all with a grin and He chants "Work, work, work."
Fishhook bares down his feat trying to get a better hold and using his strenght to slow down the tentacle as best he can. He yells,"DON'T CARE HOW SMART FISH IS..NO FISH BEAT FISHHOOK!!!!!!!!
"HOLD ON LITTLE SNEAK!"Fishhook yells as he dives for Zochel.
Fishhook grabs a chair and holds it like a club, he walks to the stairs and then turns around and says "Crewmates need help, birdie’s servant right Fishhook need to try something." Fishhook makes his way up the stairs slowly thinking what to do when he gets up there. Seeing if my knowledge can help me with a kraken.
Fishhook will grab and pick up one of the panicking sailors. He starts yelling at him "Crewmates told quiet! Captain order calm not fear! Fear kills crew, calm saves crew, thats what captain say!"As he is shouting at this sailor he shaking him until Fishhook hears Mack is missing a card. Fishhook drops the sailor and starts looking for the card then shurgs and says "Sorry Mack, no card." Now on a distracted journey to find a 7 of clubs.
After hearing the noise and the lights going out, Fishhook worries for his new crewmates he looks around and see's the nobleman and the birdy ,but the little halfling is still no where to be found. So Fishhook moves around asking the crew if they have seen them and searches for the halfling.
"DON'T WORRY FISHHOOK BE QUIET"Fishhook says quite loudly. He stays at the table wondering where Zochel went.
Fishhook puts his head underneath the table, and says "Why is little friend under table? Halfling won need be happy not scared."
Its time for Fishhook to raise it up, he puts down a silver piece! "Fishhook understand game now, hehe." Fishhook says with friendly grin. He looks to Mack, "How long Mack been in crew?
Fishhook laughs when he gets close to winning he easily hands over his copper. He then grins to Pentor and says, "Fishhook's luck take time haha! Good job nobleboy, maybe nobleboy getting Fishhook's luck after all haha." He looks over to Toe Jam's bird, "If Nobleboy wins, maybe birdy should try." Fishhook puts a copper piece in front of Toe Jam for swiftwing to play. Fishhook smacks both Toe Jam and Pentor on there backs then laughs and says, "Fishhook and Fishhooks new crewmates ready for next hand! Fishhooks luck is strong!" He's ready for the next hand.
Fishhook puts down 2 cp, and says with excitment "Now you see Fishhook's luck!"
"Fishhook think you right, Fishhook go again." Fishhook will put down another copper coin for the next hand.
Fishhook gives a chuckle with his shipmates, even though he has no idea what they are laughing about. He then puts down a cooper piece.
Aye lads heart is what matters when your on the sea, none of this book learning haha
Fishhook chuckles at the exchange between the Pentor and the bird. "Good to see birdy find purpose in life, haha maybe nobleboy be more careful next time." Fishhook gives them both a smile, and says to the both of them "Come play games with Fishhook, maybe Fishhook let you win a hand." He chuckles and will make room for the two of them if needed.
Here is Toe Jam and Swiftwing, his raven familiar. Both have a charisma of 8, and Toe Jam is just barely more intelligent than his familiar. Lol, swiftwing is 1 point away from being as smart as Fishhook hehe. |
