Fiila's page

I dislike doing it but I think I am going to bow out of this one. I have been having troubles really getting myself going in this one and I would rather not risk slowing things down.

Filla decided to guard the escape path while the apprehension occurred. As soon as she heard the command for Vorshin to surrender Fiila stomped on the ground and conjured a five foot by five foot wall across the opening starting at one edge of the road.

Fiila shook her head and said, "I can't do anything when it comes to non-lethal damage." She considered things a moment and then added, "I could create some low walls that would slow them down a little bit to cover our retreat, say a total of thirty feet worth though it takes me a few seconds to make five foot lengths of it."

With the fight over Fiila was quite pleased with the turn out, even if not with her performance in it. The first time they saw her fight and it ended like that, truly unimpressive. When they reached their destination and found that their target was still there it was a great deal of relief.

Planning how to get to Vorshin without her leaving town would prove tricky but maybe her newness to the group could be exploited. "If we can find out where she is I can try to provide a distraction so you can all get in position."

With one enemy right nearby Filla began to move. She took a slightly longer path than she needed to get there but it became obvious why when the dancing scarves began to flutter around her and obscure her form. As she did the swirling rock and dirt around her formed into a claw like shape on the end of her hand which she then punched at the fool attacker with.

Unless I am missing a bonus (or several) that is likely gonna miss. Also, the elbow shows my movement, had to move at least 10 feet for the AC from my scarves to work.

With the fight on Fiila bailed out of her hiding place, her dancing scarves fluttering around her as she did to obscure her form a bit, and came to light between the wagon and their attackers. At the same moment dirt and rocks began to appear around her, swirling about her form as she ceased suppressing her power.

Move action to bail out of the wagon, I assume that will allow me to move more than ten feet making the dancing scarves activate.giving me the AC in parentheses. I had to correct my AC values as I had a miscalculation originally. Standard action to cease suppressing my power and activate elemental overflow.

Fiila took her place hidden inside the cart amongst their "cargo" and listened to what was going on witht eh riders that approached.

Fiila nodded and said, "It sounds like a good plan to me. This promises to be quite interesting." She accepted Miya's help with a disguise and was more than ready to get started when they were done.

Fiila considerd the question posed to her, was she the dragon's egg? Could she be trusted? Finally she just laughed and said, "A fun question,I could tell you I could be trusted but that would simply be my word and if I can't be trusted I would tell you I could be. On the other hand if I could be trusted I could tell you I could trust it and mean it but why would you trust me?" Fiila shook her head and said, "No, whether I say I can be trusted is not important, you should decide if I can be trusted based on my actions instead."

Filla gave Miya a smile and said, "Yes, that is true, but I could as easily have been killed traveling alone across the countryside or worse too besides," she smiled mysteriously, "I am more durable than I look."

Fiila smiled and curtsied to the dwarf when they met and said, "It is a pleasure to meet you Master Dwarf. I'm Fiila, and I don't have a badge as I'm just a wanderer who stumbled upon seemingly interesting people."

Since she was still picking up what all was going on Fiila kept her silence during most of the conversation not really perking up until the mention of the treasure. While she would be more inclined to keep it for herself if she alone found it she had to admit that getting herslef in the authority's good graces might be worth the loss, especially if there was a finder's fee involved.

For lack of something better to do Fiila said, "I'll go with you to see the sheriff Randu. I'm curious to learn more about your assignment."

Fiila had been silent, making herself relatively invisible as the others spoke and she picked up what they were there for. Her silence broke though when Deveera spoke of Lady Cirthana's lecture on decency and modesty and generally having a stick up her arse. Fiila giggled and gestured to her own dancing outfit as she said, "Oh she is going to absolutely love me then."

Sorry for the delay, figured that it made sense for Fiila to kind of blend into the background and just listen since my last post when I get a chance to do this one.

That's not new, they've been doing bad things for decades. What is new, they got caught, and are now paying a price for it. We're here to make sure they, and others don't try to cheat the Town of Falcon's Hollow or the nation of Andoran. If you're a spy for the consortium Or a Cheliaxian agent it would be nice if you would tell us right now and save us the hassle of hurt feelings over a betrayal. I'm a sensitive sort who gets bristly when stabbed in the back. If you're on the up and up and what you appear, well, no rule saying we can't have a tag along."

Gods I miss Sweetpea, she used to do all the talking.

Fiila listened as Randu explained, generally, what was going on. It was interesting and made her think maybe it was a good thing she ran into these people before reaching the town. She didn't seem to react much to the outlandish suggestion she was a spy for the lumber company but when he mentioned Chelliax as well her eyes narrowed in dislike at his implying she might be a spy for them and said, "Chellaxian's are scum and my caravan would have nothing to do with them," her tone a bit sharp.

"So, Fila, what brings you out this way?" she asks the pretty newcomer.

Fiila turned her head, and focus away from Randu and focused on Layla as she replied, "Why I am going where the road takes me of course. Sometimes I work as an adventurer, sometimes as a dancer, either way it pays my way to the next town. I had been hoping to stay at this one for a time to build up my funds for my travels."

I will be out of town Aug 3-7 at Gencon and won't be able to post much/at all during that time.

Realizing that this group was from the town, two of them told her as much, and being invited along, Fiila grabbed up her pack and scurried along after them as she called out, "Wait for meeee!"

When she caught up to the group she asked, "Ummm, so what's going around here? I only just arrived in the area and have no clue what is happening. Coudl any of you fill me in?"

Fiila seemed to relax just a little as she realized the new arrivals were not hostile towards her, at least not yet anyway, and gave a graceful curtsy. "I am Fiila, dancer by trade and sometime adventurer." She looked at the group a bit nervously and then asked, "Soooo what brings you to the top of my hill?"

Fiila had only just arrived on the hill overlooking Falcon's Hollow a few minutes ago. She'd been traveling for some time and had decided to take a break and eat something before heading into town. She sat on the ground, making sure her dancing scarves were spread out around her and was starting to pull a pack of rations out of her bag when the disturbance happened.

There was a strange glow that appeared to one side of her and Fiila felt a tremor as someone stepped on the ground from the circle. Fiila jumped to her feet as she swung her pack onto her back and moved away from the circle as she saw people leaving it. When they had finished coming out Fiila gave them a curious look and said, "Ummm...hi?"

Sorry about the delay, it's been a rough couple of weeks.

I am good with that and have everything ready to go. Just about to get a post in. I'll get my stat line updated shortly.

This is Drogeney's character. I do not have equipment done yet because I hadn't see how that was being handled. Otherwise everything else is done.

If anyone wants to review the bloodline that was mentioned I have it spoilered in this alias for easy reference.

Fiila saw the body and realized there could be a call for her particular skills now and moved towards it. The site of it distracted her from anything else nearby as she quickly moved towards it and realized that this was not someone she knew, the clothes were wrong for a local. She knelt to examine the corpse and realized quickly from the state of the body that he'd been dead for some time, a few months at the least. She looked at the others from where she knelt and said, "He's long gone to us. He died here a few months ago and was left to rot. I'm surprised there's this much left of him out here."

With everything packed and otherwise ready to go Fiila looked around for the direction they were traveling in yesterday, chose the wrong one, and started walking. She was only a few feet away when she said, "Everyone coming? How about you Senya?"

"Oh good," she buried her face in Havarus chest a moment more and then went back to devouring her breakfast.

Fiila's look became panicked and she said, "Is everyone alright? Do I need to treat anyone?"

With her arms around Havarus still Fiila turned her head to look at Senya and say, "Sounds of battle? What battle? Didi I miss something?"

Fiila Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Alain Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11

Between them Fiila and Alain are to busy wolfing down breakfast to notice anything in Senya's expression as she looked over at Fiila. As she ate she listened to teh discussion and butted in when she had a chance, "I'm Fiila, and this is Alain," She gestured to the raven who looked up, an obvious glint of intelligence in his eyes as she continued, "So we've all introduced ourselves but you haven't told us your name yet." When Havarus was suddenly choked up on tears Fiila sat her food aside and stood, she moved to give the tiefling a hug and pat his back before returning to her food once again.

After a peaceful nights sleep Fiila awoke well rested. She sat and stared at Alain for about an hour before she got dressed and left her tent. She smiled brightly at everyone and said with a big stretch that caused her blouse to pull tight against her chest and hug the shape of her body. "Morn..." It was then she suddenly realized the tension in the camp sight and looked at the new arrival, "what's going on? It's too early to be all worked up, I haven't even had breakfast yet." Ignoring the tension Fiila went to the fire and put a plate of food together which she sat down and started eating. She occasionally held a piece of food up which Alain promptly took from her hand and swallowed.

"Zzzzzz."

I know, but you love it whem I'm cruel, you know you do. *flexes the crop she hold and flicks Havilar's backside with it*

I really have to remember what you're doing and use it for a character some day, it seems like a lot of fum and a real challenge.

Fiila continued to try and sleep while Alain decided the fight was starting to swing in her companion's favor. The bird let her be...for now.

Fair enough, just throwing it in there. Basically, if the fight turns bad or she comes under direct threat Alain will wake her up and she will join the combat.

Round 3
Fiila stuffed the pillow down on her head even harder grumbling as she tried to go back to sleep mumbling out, "Quiet down, sleeping." Alain realizes that maybe Fiila should get up and flies down to land near her head in order to prod her awake if she doesn't get up on her own soon.

Round 2
Fiila was always a sound sleeper, it took a lot to get through to her when she was asleep and she was very good at ignoring any interruptions until she was good and ready to get up. Right now she wasn't good and ready to get up and was far more interested in sleep after the long trek. So in saying Fiila rolled over with a mumbled "Go away." and pulled her pillow over her head to muffle the noise.

I normally wouldn't shirk a fight like this, but at the moment Fiila just wants to go back to sleep. If things get worse she'll be getting up.

Just waiting until the wolves go again before I do my action since I go after them.

Being lustful dreams of me they better not be, otherwise dream me isn't doing her job right.

I'd suggest roll and take his turn for him if you need to Soul, easier than retconning things.

Shouldn't that be lustfully Havi darling?

I think we just need Havarus, Gnawl and Uriel to do their actions before the wolves right?

Fiila continued to sleep soundly as did Alain, both tucked into their tent and content, unaware of the events about to transpire outside their cozy little place.

Can't make the dc with all the penalties.

It would be a DC -10 to hear combat but being asleep makes it adds +10 to the DC so a net of DC 0.

Perception

Ah, gotcha, poor Fiila will be horribly upset she missed it. Course if she ever finds out about it she may well try to duplicate it on him.

I take it he gave in, or is it just a dream? Either way I like it.

Oh the temptation for Havarus, a nice willing and nubile young woman in the tent, will he resist?

With a campsite already found Tillia quickly curls up after dinner and quickly drops off to sleep. Since no one had asked her to sit watch, and she needs her sleep so she can prepare her spells again, Tillia stays asleep until such time as dawn comes or some one wakes her up.

I'm happy to keep going, just been waiting things to progress and been quite busy the last couple of weeks.
