Hi! I was thinking about taking a Mockingfey as a familiar for my level 1 witch but I'm sort of confused about how that would work.
Does the creature have any particular prerequisites beyond having the improved familiar feat? The Mockingfey looks like the only familiar without, for example, a level or alignment requirement.
I read that Mockingfey refuse to speak. Does the Mockingfey understand common? If it adamantly refuses to speak, does the spell that allows a witch to speak to her familiar not work then?
I've spent all week on this, lol.
