![]() One character is going to be Warpriest/Slayer. (Not a paladin with sneak attack...trying for a LG NG but stern and aggressive. Might follow Ragathiel. ) She wants to avenge her town. The other is Fighter/Magus. He wanted to be a knight but is studying magic inorder to try and figure out what happened to thier town. Does this fill the basic roles well enough? Going to set this in Isger. Vaugely stole this plot from Elder Evils mixed with Dragon Quest 8. Their town has turned to crystal while they were out "doing something else." ![]()
![]() Not sure this is the place for this. I have a DM willing to run with a fun idea. I am playing a catfolk paladin (ranged paladin arctype) who is a reformed criminal (prostitute) who is trying to reform a former friend (thug turned crime lord.) He is LE half orc not sure the class but a crime boss. They have affection and are constantly trying to corrupt the other. For him it is a test of wills for her it is her mission. (Well as far as the game is concerned, side mission. Mostly handled durring downtime.) She is a paladin of abadar. They talk about the economy alot and his effect on it. She has mediocer stats in all the Cha. We are playing it off as everyone thinks she is too stupid to know she is associating with evil. She is sincere in her efforts to attempt to convert. (WE are straight off Wrath of the Righteous as a group so converting evil is very on our minds. We also laughed at completing That AP without a paladin so this one was rolled.) The status quo is interesting. She is charged with trying to bring down this organization. She feels it is too fundimental to the local economy and would ruin everyone if it was done the traditional way. So she feels the best way is try to turn the leader around to good. The leader tolerates this because "they would send someone more competant" if anything happened to her. Also the scary boss might have affection. Well there is the setup. She really isnt the smartest. 20 cha, wis 7, int 9....so she really isnt. So is this a do able plot or is everything outside the scope of what a paladin can do due to the code or is this a vaild interpretation? There is always the possiblity she does fall? I know anitpaladins can happen and she trades out 1 to 1 levels. But what are the LE options? ![]()
![]() Do you have to start with a mundnae item before you craft a magic item? Like would you craft a masterwork set of mithral full plate before crafting the magical enhancements? If you were to do this would you use craft armor for the 10500 gp (converted to 105,000 sp) armor them craft magical arms and armor for the rest? if so which price do you test for the weeks sp? The full price or the 1/3 materials? ![]()
![]() Ok I'm going to be an aasimir Arcanist who will be very mercantile. She will have a buddy who is the fence a skinwalker (boar) Slayer. I was thinking she take one of either Appraise or Spellcraft and he take Signature Skill either Sense motive or intimatidate. Which would be better for figure out magic items or even a pc crafter mage? ![]()
![]() We have a cleric who likes to try to convert people so the party has started converting en-mass. We are concentrating on the Minotaurs. They are our mascots. The 1st was an accident. This is a great idea to start the conversation about conversion and make the party really committed. Also the party all has a few relavant skills each so everyone particapates and it isnt something the cleric does alone. It gets a touch tedious and i allow them to surge rolls and i have allowed them to assist eachother on rolls but it is pretty great. It makes this campaign a touch more difficult. Any thoughts? ![]()
![]() So thematically I have a Shaman with a spirit animal skunk and she is thinking about getting a combat trained giant skunk as a mount. If my DM allows I would really like to Awaken it once I can get leadership. What lvl would I have to be? Giant Skunk is CR 3 to start? I am thinking about advancing it barbarian. |
