Does anyone have blank or stock (preferably blank) map of Andoran? Basically I'm running a campaign currently in that country and I would like a simple map with most of the city/landscape names removed from it.

I've been reading through my Bestiary and I've seen that many things require a DC for example a Mephit: "Breath Weapon (Su), Each type of mephit can unleash a particular breath weapon every 4 rounds as a standard action. The DC is Constitution-based and includes a +1 racial bonus." But then things start to confuse me even more, there are sub-types of Mephit's and all of their breath weapon entries say different things and some call for reflex based saves such as the Salt Mephit: "Breath Weapon: A cone of salt crystals that deals 1d4 slashing damage. The salt also causes living creatures to be sickened for 3 rounds. A Reflex save halves the damage and negates the sickened effect." And then some entries like the gelatinous cube also call for a DC: "Engulfed creatures are subject to the cube’s paralysis and acid, gain the pinned condition, are in danger of suffocating, and are trapped within its body until they are no longer pinned. The save DC is Strength-based." So all in all I'm trying to ask how do I make up these DC's that the PC's are supposed to save against?
If a character succeeds on his spellcraft check to read a fly scroll and is then able to use it does he have the ability to then read any fly scroll without a check? And can only spellcasters use scrolls? It says in the SRD and Core Rulebook: Once a character deciphers a particular piece of magical writing, he does not need to decipher it again. Deciphering magical writing allows the reader to identify the spell and gives some idea of its effects (as explained in the spell description). If the magical writing is a scroll and the reader can cast arcane spells, he can attempt to use the scroll.
Are there any rules for building strongholds in Pathfinder? Or any type of building for that matter?
I have recently played through most of the Beginner Box about mid level 3. And I am going to change to the Core Rulebooks, now, we are going to roll new characters, and mainly use the Core Rulebook for character advancement and options. And I'm wondering if my players ever use any of the Ultimate books, or Advanced books if they will become over powered? I know this happens in 3.5 with many supplements, but does it happen with Pathfinder?
Hello I'm looking to join a online Pathfinder game preferably through some virtual tabletop. If you have a personal questions feel free to post them. I have some experience with Pathfinder, not a lot though. SO I may be asking quite a few questions.
Can I use the 3.5 MM in Pathfinder with little to no changes? If not what is a way I can update them to Pathfinder? I wanna use classic D&D monsters not present in Pathfinder.

I know this probably belongs in the Beginner Box Sub-forum, but it take forever to get responses there. And I would like to know if the beginner box is a intro or a stand alone rule lite game? The way Paizo seems to be introducing stuff makes me think it may turn into a rules lite version. And another question is can I take my level 5 beginner box characters and use them in core with no conversion?
How many monsters are in the beginners box, and how many hours of play, approximately, are in the box?
I would like to know if there is a new version of Pathfinder in the works. The reason I'm asking is because I don't wanna get the current stuff and it be outdated in a year. You see it will be a good year or so before I play Pathfinder, so if I buy the stuff now will it be outdated and unsupported in a year or 2? Also is it easy to learn the game from the core rulebook by yourself?
Okay so I'm thinking about getting the Pathfinder Core Rulebook, notice I said thinking. And I wanted people opinions on the game. You see I'm playing a 4e DnD game and am not really getting a good vibe (not to say I don't like the game cause I do). But I am also working with AD&D 2e and its too rules heavy. So would you guys suggest Pathfinder? (Yes I'm looking for biased answers because I want true fans opinions) P.S. I never played 3.0 or 3.5 |
