I just received my package today for this order and there is an item missing - it did not contain the Starfinder Flip-Tiles: Alien Planet Ruins Expansion. Instead there was the Pathfinder Flip Tiles: Fortress Walls & Towers Expansion in the box, which is an item I did not order and I am not a subscriber to the Pathfinder map line. I think it might have been mixed up.

Can you please send me the correct flip tiles, the Starfinder Flip-Tiles: Alien Planet Ruins Expansion set as soon as possible?

Hello - sorry - it isn't changed the way I wanted - I wanted it to be my visa that gets charged for this order, not the Mastercard. Can you please update this order to ensure that it charges the visa card? I just changed my subscription method back to my Visa which is the method I want. Can you please ensure my Visa is charged for this order when it ships? Not the Mastercard, I want the Visa to be charged. I just went back into my account to set the default subscription payment method back to Visa.

I got my email notification for order 36606651 - I have just side-carted the Starfinder Adventure Junker's Delight (located in Order 26547619). Can I have Junker's Delight added to ship with the current pending order order 36606651 please?

Also another note - I thought that there was going to be a separate Starfinder subscription line that was going to be added so I didn't order Junkers Delight sooner, but I see now that pre-orders for Junkers Delight were going to receive the free PDF for folks that have the Starfinder AP sub. I'm sorry I did not realize that was going to be the case and missed the pre-order period - as this is a new release is there any chance that an exception can be made and I could get the PDF as well in this one case? Now that I know there is no separate Adventure sub for Stafinder I will be sure to pre-order these releases going forward to ensure I qualify for the free PDF as I am a subscriber to all the AP lines and the PF adventure line as well.

I would still like to keep both of the Advanced GM screens in this order but do not want the NPC battle Cards and would not want to continue with the Pathfinder Accessories sub beyond this.

Normally once you get your order confirmation email from Paizo, you gain access to the PDF. So Ultimate Combat had a release date of April 15, my order shipped on March 30th, so I downloaded the PDF March 30th. (all dates made up for discussion).

Paizo made the decision to no allow PDF downloads until Aug 1 since this is a much bigger deal than just the most recent options book release. It's a one time decision because of the release of P2. Expect the Lost Omens world guide PDF to be available by August 10th or so as they start shipping the August releases (P2 CRB and Bestiary are technically July releases).

Yeah I know this is the case. But it seems odd now that a whole bunch of people have the books anyway and lots of info is leaking out there regardless. Just feels like a bit of a letdown.

Edit: I realize the Paizo folks are working very hard. I appreciate all the effort they put in, I'm simply very excited for the game.

All of our products always have a predetermined retail release date each month. This ensures that stores that happen to get products earlier than others don't have an advantage over stores that happen to get their orders later. (This is just like books, movies, CDs, toys tied to major movie releases, and many other things.)

And each year, we synchronize the release date for either July or August products (depending on the timing) with the first day of Gen Con, again to ensure that our own retail sales at the convention don't provide either an advantage or a disadvantage to those retailers.

Yup this makes sense. It is indeed how other product releases are handled. However I do wish that the subscriber PDFs would be reconsidered for an earlier release as they normally are.

I get the fact that they want to ensure everyone gets it at the same time and they avoid any misconceptions like what apparently happened with Starfinder, but the fact of the matter is now a lot of folks are getting their online orders from Paizo very early.

I'm concerned about the PDF being withheld from subscribers when all the people who ordered online are getting their shipments early - I am doing Gen Con pickup so I wont get anything until Aug 1, but I have a game early in the day on the the 1st (not the special with the pre-gens). I wont have time to create a character or even really read the rules. I already had a character concept in mind to play my first PFS 2e game, so its gonna feel pretty disappointing to not be able to play my own character from the start (assuming there are pre-gens available for the regular scenarios).

I really hope they change their minds about the PDF now that the hard copy books are showing up all over the place. I do appreciate though that it is difficult to coordinate such a big release like this.

I really wish we could have got the PDF at least a little bit sooner - I have a game scheduled for early afternoon at Gen Con and wont have time to build a character or give the rules a read through. I understand what they were saying about why they wanted to hold them back, but now seeing other non-gen con pickup subscribers getting their books so early hurts a little bit.

So as an update, I went ahead and pre-ordered the portrait-style screen. Based on everything I have read on the message boards here, it appears I should still be able to pick up all of my subscription items at Gen Con and the portrait style GM screen will be shipped to me in the next proper subscription shipment, and I will get access to the PDF. Is this correct?

I have a conundrum - I am going to Gen Con this year and plan to pick up my subscriptions at the show. I have also recently subbed to the accessories line.

My issue is that in addition to the landscape screen that comes with the accessories sub, I ALSO want the portrait style screen. I also noticed the offer to provide a free PDF for those that pre-order this screen who also have the accessories sub.

My issue is this: it doesn't appear that the portrait style screen is available for pickup at Gen Con, and I am concerned that if I pre-order the portrait screen it will interfere with my current subscription and inadvertently hold the subscription items back from being picked up at Gen Con.

Any idea how to handle this? Is there a way for me to pre-order the Portrait screen AND pick up my regular subscriptions at Gen Con? Or is it better to wait until after Gen Con and order the portrait screen then (but miss out on the free PDF)?

I would like to also say that getting the PDFs is one of the main reasons I subscribe, since packages take weeks to ship to Europe and it allows me access to the content right away. I also use them heavily during prep by copy-pasting text or extracting maps to annotate and use on a VTT.

Sometimes the packages have enough stuff inside that I need to pay extra sales tax before I get my package (which is fine), which can increase the price to a point where it would have been (a little) cheaper to pick it up at a LFGS. The added value of the PDF is what makes it worth it though.

This is the exact same thing for me as well. I'm in Canada and the shipping is pretty huge, but with the added benefit of a PDF copy is actually works out pretty good even with shipping. My FLGS is sometimes spotty with what they get in stock for PF products so I like getting it straight from Paizo, but that PDF is such a major component for me that allows me to justify the shipping. I use the PDF's and physical copy in equal measure so there really is quite an added value to have it. Sadly without the PDF I wouldn't be able to continue my subs.

Again I will re-iterate, I am no expert behind the real life business decisions and impacts that the free PDF may have for them, but I hope there is a way to maintain that benefit.

I know you folks are still working out subscriber benefits and haven't announced anything yet, but a major reason I am a subscriber is for the PDF as well as the physical book. I will throw my 2 cents in on this and ask that you keep the free PDF as a perk for subscribers. I don't know any of the business decisions behind it of course, but if there is any way to keep the free PDF please do!

I thought I noted it in my initial post, but I see that I neglected to do so - the characters are currently only at level 3. We want them to move up although no specific level goal in mind.

Our intention is to play 1 to 2 scenarios per month leading up to Gen Con, and per session there is no hard time limit. Currently just balancing these scenarios with our ongoing AP games in our community.

Our main goal is to try to tap into the best story threads leading into the grand finale. I just wanted to get some opinions from folks here about what the highlights were. I find the store ratings and reviews good, but sometimes the forums is where I have discovered some really good ones in the spotlight - an example would be season 4-19: Night March of Kalkamedes. It has great reviews but it was a thread discussing this scenario that really opened my eyes to it.

I will however check out the store and see if I can piece some stuff together. Thanks!

Just thought I'd poke in again on this post - does anyone have any suggestions for season 10 scenarios? Even just what the cream of the crop scenarios are would be good.

A friend of mine and I were looking into catching up on season 10 in preparation for Gen Con this year. I know that PF 2.0 is launching at/around Gen Con, but I also understand that the last PFS 1st edition special will be held at Gen Con as well.

We are quite eager to participate. In preparation we want to take our new characters through the highlights of season 10 to get relatively caught up on the main story line going on so our characters come to the special wizened to current events.

Can anyone recommend a progression path we could take for the better scenarios so far released for season 10? We plan to play from now until end of July and are likely to get 1 to 2 scenarios in per month. With that limitation in mind is there a recommended pat to take? We have both played the first scenario already (Oathbreakers Die), but nothing else.

We are looking for quality scenarios, and especially more seasonal plot appropriate scenarios so far. We have low level characters presently (both only level 2). Not necessarily looking to hit a specific level tier, more interested in a good path to take narratively speaking.

A little background: We are both PFS players from the earlier years, season 1 - 6 essentially, and have fallen off PFS in the past couple of years due to participating in more home games than public play. We do host a small group of PFS players that started with older season stuff that we intended to move into the future stuff, but those efforts all turned into AP's instead.

Anyhow, if anyone could make us any sort of recommendations for a path through the season 10 scenarios (or any other scenarios outside of season 10 if you feel it would be narratively appropriate), it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm preparing to run a Doomsday Dawn scenario and one thing I am struggling with is when do characters notice a hazard?

If a character walks into a room with a hazard, lets say a pit trap, or one that is not meant to be noticed immediately - is it better to wait for PC's to indicate that they are looking for traps? Or do you do a perception roll from everyone right from the get go? a secret roll?

Secondly, if characters approach an area where there are enemies that are hiding, and the enemies then try to launch an attack, as I understand all that would change is that I would do the initiative roll with stealth for the monsters and perception for the PCs right? There is not surprise in this playtest?

I just want to make sure that my order will be available for pickup at Gen Con.

EDIT: I see in the Gen Con pickup thread that subscription items for Gen Con pickup are being put in sidecarts, so that explains that!

Me and about 4 other people who know each other want to start a PbP game. Our schedules are out of phase which is why we've come here looking for someone to GM for us. I have the most XP with pathfinder and the rest have been exposed to it but not very much so with that in mind we would like something simple for beginners. There is no preference to what AP we play but homebrews should be pretty cannon. Thanks for reading!
