Feena was worried about the plant creature they had run into and relieved when it seemed they had talked it down, at least for now. Truthfully she felt sorry for it and wanted to try and help but she didn't think that would be advisable. They could likely do more by doing as it asked than trying to help it directly. She nodded to it and said, "We will do that."

When they found the haunt Feena was more than a little concerned, she didn't know what one was, but it was surely not a good thing given the history of this place. Fortunately, Isabet knew it was a haunt, and Kendrik went to try and dispel the haunt with the help of Isabet.

Unfortunately for everyone their attempts to try and convince the haunt pass on failed and the sudden loud yell and waves of despair she was sure she could feel wash over her at the announcement left Feena reeling.

Nodding in agreement Feena cast once more, sending a pair of scorching rays to heal, one to Lola and one to the Sister.

Feena was relieved they didn't lose anyone to the statues and was glad they could make their way towards their goal once more. The buildings they found were intriguing, and she wondered who each belonged to but, even more than the temples, it was the salt water that caught her attention.

Feena looked at the water and said, "Strange we would find this down here. I haven't encountered salt water since I came to...," there was only one place that would bring that look of pain across Feena's face as she trailed off.

When she saw how Sister Cloodes used the wand to heal herself, Feena became thoughtful as she wondered about her own ability to heal. Did her flames become positive energy? Would they heal or harm the Sister? Feena had to admit she was curious even though she did not want to test on her companion. Still, knowing might be important and Feena finally resolved to just ask.

As the others focused more on their exploration Feena made her way over to Isabet and asked, "Do you think my healing flames would hurt you or heal you Sister? I hadn't thought of it before now but thought I should ask. If you aren't sure it might be smart to test it out soon, just in case."

In an effort to try and end this fight Feena did the only thing she could think of from there that might help. She chanted, gestured, and sent a bead of fire lancing out to a space behind the remaining enemies. An instant later it bloomed into a massive ball of fire that exploded to engulf the two constructs.

Needing a clearer line of fire to help Feena moved, skirting past Damian and up a couple of steps to get people out of her way before chanting, gesturing, and sent a pair of scorching rays of energy at her target.

Seeing how well they were doing so far Feena felt ti was best to conserve her magic for now and simply moved away from the last column to let the others take it down.

Feena understood something about the constructs and called out, "Does anyone have holy symbols of Arazni, they will let us pass if we have them." She does not attack, hoping that someone has a means to let them avoid fighting the constructs so they can preserve their strength for the cultists.

Feena moves to stay away from the constructs or to someone if they have the holy symbol that will get them past the guardians. I'm at work and can't get on Rolld20 just now.

Feena hesitated at attacking the strange statues as she isn't sure what they are or if they will even attack them for sure, though it certainly looks that way. She does look at them trying to determine what they are though so they can deal with them if they have to.

Feena stood and watched as the blessing was burned remembering Azrani as she was when they met and considering what she could be again if things worked out right. Maybe there would be something she could do if she became powerful enough. Phoenix blood flowed through her veins, however diluted, and maybe there would be a way for her to channel that to let Azrani be reborn anew. It was something to think about at least. When the burning was completed, she felt the protection wash over her and smiled sadly as she sent a prayer to Sarenrae to help guide her and find a way for her to one day help Azrani be reborn whole and alive once more.

Feena was relieved the fight was over. It was brutal but quick with their enemies going down without any major losses on their side. Yes, Kendren was hurt badly but at least he was still standing. Feena considered the talismans and asked, "What does the arrow one do?"

When they reached the bottom of the long flight of stairs Feena went to Sister Cloodes and reached out to help steady her as she caught her breath. It was definitely a lot of work to walk down that far but it had to be done, and she worried about just how bad it would be for the Sister to go back up again.

Feena moved to get a clear view into the room and called upon her firey magic to send a pair of scorching rays of energy into the nearest opponent Green or Blue if Green goes down before her spell goes off.

With the fight imminent Feena quickly tossed a fireball into the room, careful to make sure her friends would not be caught in the area.

Feena was pleased they made it safely across and denied the big lizard a meal and later smiled in surprise at Isabet's shoulder bump the whole thin a surprise, but a pleasant one. When the hidden doorway was discovered and the trap being disarmed Feena stayed back to let the others work while she was ready to blast any attackers that might come out at them.

Feena gave a scream of surprise when Old Leatherback appeared roaring from the water. He looked hungry, really hungry, and she did not want to be his next meal. She reached out to touch Coral and nodded her head as she said a few words and with a pop, they were on the other side of the place, safe and sound.

Dim Door. Trying to land us far enough back that the beast can't easily get to us.

Feena listened to all that was said about their path ahead when she realized Damien did not understand any of it. Feena, unwilling to open her mouth in the fetid odors of the room, got something out. to write with and wrote down the conversation for him, casting a spell to create some light if he needed it to read the information.

When the discussion shifted to the gap and the need to get across while ignoring some creature that lived below Feena considered the problem. She could not make a bridge, but she could fly, and she could teleport. Feen almost gagged as she started to say something and stopped to choke the reaction down before she said, "I can teleport three across with me at a time if the distance isn't too much. If I can take three across, I can possibly fly high enough to get back across without disturbing whatever is in the water below and then bring the others."

I have three potential Dim Doors left today but my flight is unlimited. If I could be made large, I might be able to just fly everyone across individually.

With the defeat of the thugs, they were on their way through the disgusting sewers once more when they came on the sight of the big hole and the crushed and mangled body of the man outside of it. Then, as they crossed the bridge, the stench hit her with its nigh overwhelming foulness.

Feena wasn't sure what to think but she was really glad that she had gotten used to the atrocious smells, though she was not sure if that was a good thing or not. It also helped that she had the perfumed cloth across her mouth and nose to help hide the stench. She realized that it was probably a good thing she didn't just toss a fireball down here, especially when they met the seemingly peaceful monster!

The creature was...bizarre, and more than a little disturbing to look at, especially since it lived in the garbage pile! She knew that she should not hold the creature in disgust based off of these things, but it was hard not to. She quickly decided that she would be well advised to let the others handle this for now.

With the last of the thugs defeated Feena gave Lola a sheepish look as she responded to the request, "Ummmm, sorry but I can't Lola. They will wear off on their own shortly, in fact the first one should be going away in a few seconds and the other one just after it."

It is rounds per level and I believe the first one should go out in another couple of rounds, IIRC.

Having trouble with my vision this weekend so I won't be able to post much. I am hoping it will be better this week but it is making it impossible for me to look at Paio's website well enough to read anything, it's just too bright and they don't have a darkmode that I can find.

Pleased to see the goons move up Feena cast another spell and sent a bead of fire out behind the three thugs where it detonated in a fiery explosion.

Seeing how the bastards did not want to cross the water to them Feena decided it was time to force the issue. She cast once more, this time placing another wall of fire right behind the line of goons and on top of the spellcaster in the back. She was curious to see how long they would just stand there now.

Feena felt the worst of the negative energy bursts wash off of her and felt that the idiots had made a serious mistake, something they seemed to realize as they advanced. She was all too eager to take advantage of it though as she chanted, gestured, and sent fiery energy lancing out at the caster int he back.

I am working on a post, work has been rather crazy this morning so it's taking longer than I expected to finish.

Feena heard the men talking and realized they were enemies about the same time as they realized her group was there. Wanting to try and prevent them from easily getting away Feena gestured as she spoke a few words, and a sheet of fire appeared twenty feet behind them across the corridor to make them either brave the flames or face their group.

Casting Wall of Fire 20 ft behind them and cutting off their escape. I'll wrap it around as possible to further cut them off. and have 7 twenty-foot chunks to work with. Can't put them on the map right now since I am at work.

While some of their group could see normally down here Feena quickly found that she could not. She said a few words, gestured, and conjured up a set of four bobbing lights to let them see.

Feena was a bit surprised at the way they were treated when they found the Grand Marshall but, after thinking about it, she decided that it made some sense. The Marshall didn't know them from the next guy and she suspected it was only Isabet's presence that got them anywhere, Fortunately they made their case well enough and Feena felt that was as much as they could do for now and they would need more proof to get any further.

The trip back to the dyeworks left Feena rather nervous, particularly after how badly the last time went. When they reached sewers Feena's nose wrinkled at the stench. She had thought the dye works were bad but they had nothing on this. Fortunately she had taken some precautions and got out a handkerchief that she dobbed a little perfume onto and wrapped it around her lower face to help hide the odor. She also took some effort to make sure her new dress was kept up far enough from the floor to avoid dragging in the muck. She nodded in understanding when Lola told them she had found the trail but kept quiet so she wouldn't risk alerting their foes.

With things at a point where they could get some shopping done having arrived Feena picked up a few things to help her be of greater use and protect her better. Originally she had had been planning on only those magical items but the sudden, and unpredictable, sprouting of her new wings meant she needed a new outfit. It wasn't all that much different from what she normally wore, though this outfit was not so much different than her normal one but it was of nicer make in a fiery red color that had a cut out in the back where her wings could extend through. She had gotten very lucky in finding it and was pleased that it was of such nice make. It should hold up well in their travels and it made her feel happy.

As they searched for the Marshal Feena left her wings out as she still hadn't had much luck keeping them in yet since they liked to pop back out on her at bad times. This made her attract a lot of attention and left Feena feeling more than a little embarrassed as she felt that people were looking at her like she was a freak. The fact that they were looking at her as gorgeous or striking was completely lost on her. Fortunately she was able to distract herself when she saw the Marshal and said, "I found her!"

Feena tried to imitate what Lola was doing, visualizing the wings going away but that didn't work, then she tried to focus on how it felt without them when she walked around. yesterday. It was a challenge because they felt so naturally right to her. Finally, after several minutes of effort, Feena finally managed to get her wings to retract into herself and it was the strangest feeling to her.

Once her wings were fully pulled in, she sat down at the table to eat. She began to relax as she bent a little forward to take a bite she lost her focus, and the wings popped out once more the reaction sending her face first into her food. Feena was not one to curse, she was usually rather quiet and seemed much like a librarian, which made sense given her history. This, however, was too much for her and Feena let out the most blistering curse she'd ever heard before casting a spell to clean herself off. With that she turned her chair around and sat on it in the wrong direction, leaning forward against the back while she retracted her wings again.

Feena was getting better by the time she finished her breakfast, only narrowly avoiding sending one of the servers flying when her wings popped out at a bad time. After that incident everyone stayed clear of the area behind her. When they were done, she seemed to finally have the wings under control, though her face was beat red from the embarrassment of the whole thing.

Feena felt a great deal of relief when Isabet got her glasses of the floor and put them firmly on her nose, having her sight back was a huge blesssing and she began to calm down. It didn't seem that the others were overly concerned about what happened and that seemed to help reassure her even more, though Kendren seeing in was disturbing to her.

It took some assistance from Isabet to help her figure out something to wear, at least until she could get a dress that would accommodate her wings. Feena felt like there was a way she could get rid of them, but she hadn't figured it out yet and knew that she would need to get clothing to accommodate them if she wanted to use them.

With some improvisation Feena was decent, and she came out to eat with everyone, her face flushed with embarrassment as she ate her food while trying to keep her wings out of trouble. She listened as Lola explained her mask's function and found the idea fascinating helping her forget her own concerns for a bit. When everyone was finished eating Feena said, "While we are tracking down the bad guys today, I need to get an actual dress that will handle the wings. Hopefully we can find some kind of backless one or a seamstress that could fix one and we could come back for it when it was ready."

Feena slept later than the others as her less physical nature taxed by the long day and all the madness they faced having left her extremely tired. It was when she woke up that something seemed off but she was still too muddled to understand what that was as she tried to change into her clothes and top of her nightgown simply fell off of her and dangled from her waist. Feena tried to find her glasses so she could try and see what was going on better only to find they weren't where she had left them since they had been knocked to the floor by something when she turned.

Half blind Feena was very awake now as she started to panic and cried out, "Help! Something's wrong with me," in obvious terror. Whenever someone finally came to check on her there was an obvious issue, besides Feena not having her glasses and being naked from the waist up, namely a pair of wings that had vermilion colored feathers resembling licks of flame covering them.

When they reached where they would be staying for the night and started to ready themselves for bed Feena was rather quick to start doing so. By the time Isabet removed her hair pin and her true self was revealed Feena couldn't see much at all. Still, the tension in most everyone's tones worried her and so she put her glasses back on.

When Feena saw Isabet, the sorceress gasped in a mixture of surprise and fright as she huddled away for a moment. She could tell this was bad way to behave though, both because of all that Isabat had done for them so far and because it simply wasn't right to act that way!

Feena rose from where she was and approached Isabet and said, "I am sorry for my reaction Isabet, that was unworthy of me. What you are or how you looks should not be important, especially with all that you have done for us." Feena stood right before Isabet and, impulsively, gave her a hug to show she trusted Isabet letting the dhampir indicate when she should let go.

Feena's exhaustion was somewhat alleviated when they started their search but as time went on and they met with little success she began to feel her energy wane. By the time they reached the Precentor Martial's residence and got an audience she was starting to fall asleep once more. That changed when they met Veena face to face. Feena woke right up at that point as she felt her heart rate speed up and her face flush as she was instantly smitten with the half-elf. Being her usual, reclusive, self Feena was far from being able to talk to Veena for the entirety of their time there and before she could think of anything to say they were gone.

Though she was quite awake as they made their way to Orlin's abode Feena began to flag again and by the time they sat to wait she was out like a light. It may not have been much but it was a chance to sleep and, based of what they were told, it seemed that it was a good thing she caught what sleep she could as it looked like they were going to be very busy. With what they saw Feena looked at Orlin and asked, "Do you know where this place is?"

Feena woke up when she felt Lola's hand rub her shoulder and managed to sit upright again. It took her a moment to realize her glasses were askew and she reached up to adjust them as the discussion continued around her. By the time they were ready to move along to their next destination Feena was awake once more...mostly, and she agreed that it was important. They had no clue when the enemy would strike against the city, only that the time was running out.

When they left the lodge Feena left with her companions and nodded in agreement with the general consensus, "Finding Ceto is our best next step, and I agree the closest location is the best place to start."

It's been rather unclear to me what the exact time frame has been. Have we slept since going to the place where we rescued the one guard that was being hung, the elemental, the ghosts, the ooze and now? I thought we had basically hit the town running and have not rested since we arrived here?

After all that had happened Feena was exhausted and truly at the end of her rope. In point of fact, she lost hold of said rope at some point between sitting down and the talks beginning as she sat in her seat, her eyes closed, through the whole meeting blissfully unaware of the tensions that had been there moments before. She almost fell out of her seat but fortunately her arms landed on the table and her head landed atop them which almost knocked her glasses off of her face.

There is just too much in this scene to even try and get caught up so this should work just fine for the time being.

With the ultimate fall of the ooze Feena felt a wash of relief. That thing had nearly ended them all, it wasn't the first time that had happened, but it was the only time they had been so helpless against it and said, "Thank you Sister Isabet, I don't know what we would have done without you." She knew she would need to find a way to help deal with such things in the future and felt she had a few ideas on how to do so. Those were something for later though, instead they had ghouls in a pit to deal with.

Looking to her companions Feena asked, "So are these ghouls stuck in the pit and can we fire down into it? If so this should be much easier than the last fight was." Had she tempted fate? Absolutely! Would the deities of fate forgive her? That remained to be seen.

Feena was glad they had gotten away, at least for the moment, to regroup and make a plan. Going back in there seemed unwise but she knew that someone had to deal with this thing and they were here. "If we need to heal then now is the time. My magic will be of little use besides that against this thing."

Feena was not going to stay and fight the thing alone and quickly began to retreat after her companions through the building. She knew they would need to deal with this thing eventually but they simply could not right now.

Continuing to attempt to heal her allies Feena sent out another pair of heat rays, this time one of them hit Lola and the other Damian.

Feema stayed well back from the fighting, she could do little help as it was, and began another chant. When she finished she dropped a fireball onntop of her companions causing their wounds to heal.

Feena saw how badly Kendren was harmed by the monstrosity and knew he needed to healed quickly. Knowing this was a chance she could help in the fight Feena cast a spell and sent a pair of scorching beams of energy lancing out at Kendren causing some of his injuries to heal with soothing heat.

Having heard the thing was resistant to the only types of magical damage she could dish out Feena was once more at a loss on what she should do. After a moment she realized there was one option left to her, magically speaking, and that was to try and blind the thing. She wasn't sure if she even could blind it but it was her best option. With a few words and gestures Feena produced a pall of glittery dust to spread over the creature's mass.

Since Feena does not know any better she will cast glitterdust DC 18 will.

Yeah, Feena is finally realizing she needs to branch out and get access to some additional damage types.
