You think Sandpoint's bad? Try Barovia. Population 50, and they have a tavern...
I've been to smaller towns with a tavern. It's the only place to go in some towns.

In my home town we lost the cinema :( and some of the pubs are so rough they have a pig in the corner as air freshener :D

Yes it was...

Okies..... I've done the search before I get flamed...

Theoretically, which gods of Golarian would require/demand celibacy and a life of abstaining from conjugal pleasures? Seen as (off the top of my head) only one Chrispy denomination (Catholicism) demands celibacy from its' priests.. bearing in mind that Church of England vicars who convert, to the best of my knowledge, are not required to be celibate if already married...(I can check this bit!!)

I get that paladins would probably be expected to be chaste, celibate and Lawful Stupid ;)

Try The Godsmouth Heresy with them... tbh IMO it's a VERY good intro to PFRPG.. Personally, there are a few reasons
1) they may feel outside their 'comfort zone'
2) they have to learn a new rule set,
3) they DON'T want to be bothered to learn a new rule set,
4) they may not want to 'invest' in the system, not even the CRB for their own reference - this can be alleviated with the online rule set ;)

Make it easier by giving them the Iconic pregens ... or try the Beginner Box

Wasn't there some 'good' undead elves in Eberron for 3.5? Is this going down the sparkly vampire path... Oh No!! O_o

Is it RaW that to use a bladed weapon 'sideways' to cause bludgeoning instead of slashing damage changes the weapon to an Improvised Weapon?

I ask because I wanted to cause bludgeoning against an undead IC as I spotted IC that the blade was doing little damage,,, OOC I said 'but the PC has been trained in this weapon'.. the GM said it was an Improvised weapon so I didn't argue just to keep the combat flowing..

We still killed that god damn abomination to life though ;)

You're well within your rights as a GM to ban classes... our GM only allowed CRB classes and gave us his reasons which we agreed with 90%... at first I thought It would be restrictive BUT it actually helped because we had a smaller pool of options..

As a compromise he allows ALL Paizo published class related feats, spells & equipment etc

If he is physically displaying annoyance at rolling a 1 (it usually gets rounds of laughter and facepalming round our table) he needs help.. it COULD get worse, meaning he COULD take his annoyance out physically on yourself or another player..

'... He's also a bit of an alcoholic (OOC)...' he's an alcoholic you say.. he needs help but must ADMIT the PROBLEM himself first..

1 person marked this as a favorite.

For my youngest son's solo adventures, he was 9 when we started... I gave him max HP each level up.. Dwarf fighter... with 17 CON... he was quite pleased with that ;)

Have her switch to greatsword... 2d6 + 1 & .5 str damage,,, always goes down well on our table.. ;)

There's a sticky guide to the classes.. have you tried that?

I used it to research a CAGM (come and get me) barbarian build, but then i had a brain wave to create a combat cleric instead! ;)

Is the Swashbuckler (and related) info all available here...?

I've used the module finder to see what Paizo have produced already.... but what I'm looking for is more 'combat orientated.. less thinky' module for a troupe of 4 players...

We'll go for thinky stuff when I choose to run an adventure path ;)
