Wow, its been almost 8 months since I advertised this campaign here. I wanted to stop by and give a re-plug. We started act 3 of the campaign (Spore War) over the summer, and I've been treating it like its a complete follow-on campaign, so it has a new playlist.

The campaign has been going strong, we're currently level 15, in the middle of book 2 of Spore War. I think I've learned a lot over the months in terms of small incremental improvements in the show I want to present. After a number of different experiments with lighter or heavier editing, I've decided on an approach that tends to shorten every 3 hour recording to about 2 hours, after removing longer pauses and filler words. For the past two weeks I've started added background music, last week (episode 18) was a touch too loud, but I think it was well-mixed this week.

We're of course always working on improving the story telling, and I think this week had a lot of improvement there as well. But its still the number one thing I'm trying to focus on myself, and requesting the players to think about as well.

We recently launched a new PF2e actual play.

We've played through Rusthenge (episodes 1-7) and have begun our act 2 which will be a collection of PFSs scenarios (starting with Heidmarch's Heist, and ending with most of the season 2 meta plot), Act 3 (or 3-5 depending on how we ultimately decide to label the acts), will be Spore War.

Episodes 1 & 2 were definitely a little spotty on the audio quality side, but I think we've fixed the largest problems going forward and continue to make improvements!

I try to keep things very focused on the game, we don't have a pre-session banter for instance, and I tend to edit out non-relevant discussions (troubleshooting Foundry for instance).

Its a four player party, no Free Archetype. We're currently level 4 as of episode 9.

I hope you'll consider giving us a chance. We're generally experienced players/GM, but new to producing an actual play. Constructive feedback is very welcome!
