My only suggestion is adding either stroke or dropshadow to the TEO logo. The phoenix blends a bit with the mountain hex color.

Heh, thats been bothering me as well, here is a <closeup> of a section that shows both Aragon and Brighthaven with some outlines.

@Kemedo: The final icon will be a bit pixilated, 65px by 57px is very small, but the template should be fine.

For example, I pasted your Templated 2 image directly into my map and got <this>. I didn't have to adjust the size at all.

These maps are great and all, but I'm still wondering who Blackwater Glade is... :P

Oh, so they are. I hadn't refreshed the page.

I'd appreciate if they were on the legend for clarity, though.

<LoIS>

Concentrate and click the LoIS link while chanting "Brell toh larn mintrey coltrar," and it should show up. Its hidden by magic. :D

...I noticed that you used red and blue. Nice touch for what I think you mean to accomplish. Why is Roseblood blue? Are we Jedi-like or do we act like Democrats? Roseblood denotes red...twice...

I chose to keep it simple with primary colors and there was already a lot of green and yellow on the map. <Here> is the map with roseblood as red if that would suit it better. It really doesn't matter unless the Northern Coalition wants to be red as well.

The Northern Coalition and Roseblood Accord are groups of settlements that have their own threads on this forum. Keeping track of settlements who join a group of settlements via a list on the forums is much easier than keeping track of specific individual members from a large internet community and which specific settlements they have joined. I also doubt it would be completely accurate.

The purple auras were created to help me keep the map updated from week to week. When I update the map, I highlight which settlements are no longer the same to help me not miss any changes when I update the names. I decided to go ahead and leave it in this week.

I created my map because I don't like the Goblinworks map. Having others find it helpful is a bonus.

Now... time for haiku:

The roseblood is red
The coalition is blue
Next week's will be too

Awesome job Rhun! I only have one issue with it...Ozem's Vigil font should be 4 times bigger. j/k ;)

Like <this> one? Totally not biased. ;P

On a more serious note...

I added settlement names. I was too slow to edit it into previous post though.
You may, or may not, want to note that "T" is abandoned, as Phantasmagoria have moved elsewhere.

Yeah, I'm aware that they are not going to be there anymore. I don't plan on updating it until the week 2 update when the change is 'Landrush Official' and I have something to replace it with. Thanks for letting me know though. I feel like it will be a constant job to keep it updated as a lot of things will change and settlements will merge.

Sundracon, that's very useful. Thanks!

Not a problem. I just got done redoing the font. The old one was using times new roman and the 'm's and 'n's were a bit hard to read. The new one uses Pieces of Eight font. The previous <link> points to the new one.

I didn't like looking at the extra color hexes on the map so I edited them out.

Resulting in a stripped down hybrid image, nice.

Have you considered leaving in the 1 hex radius of influence? It helps establish which areas are less crowded and allow for expansion.

<Like this?>

I added hexes for the three already established settlements. The <original> map didn't include those.

Bored, so I put some icons for the existing settlements on the map.

Nice.

Hope you don't mind me linking to this map.

Anyone else suddenly noticing that the guild icon hexagons are aligned with the 'points' up/down while the map hexagons are aligned left/right?

No problem at all. I chose to keep the symbol as it was specifically so you can still see what terrain type it is on.
