Oh i know. However it takes some time to do so. Which items does the party want identified, if any, at this time?

Ezren relays this information on to the party.

Ezren also casts detect magic. He then uses his foot to nudge and inspect the goblin's corpse.

Welcome back, Espri.

Wooo! Magic Missle Wand
Magic Missle: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Ezren moves to AF12 and again uses his wand of Magic Missle against the Goblin opponent to the south.

Magic Missle Wand: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Ezren moves to AD11 (the spot due north of Vermin) and uses his wand of Magic Missle.

Magic Missle: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Since there is only 1 dog left, I will ready an action to cast acid splash on D1 only if it moves from its current square.

"Ahh! Someone kill this knee-nibbler!"

If Vermin's flaming sphere takes out D3, then my missile will go to D2.

Move to AA12 (15ft for half speed). Then cast magic missle on D3.

Ezren whispers: "Take this, you ugly mutt!"

Magic Missle: 2d4 + 2 ⇒ (2, 1) + 2 = 5

I've been away on a surprise anniversary weekend getaway.

Remaining quiet, Ezren believes that Vermin's lead has been good so far. He will continue to follow Vermin. He is ready in case combat ensues.

"Seems I should put my armor on before heading into this twisted mess of weeds."

I will go ahead and cast mage armor on myself. Then move to R9.

Like, Myrielle, Ezren was mostly quiet along the journey as well - only to have the slightest giggle when she would trip or stub a toe...that is...until he fell down completely himself.

At that point, his mood dampened completely. The metaphorical glass went from half empty directly to empty. From then on, he joined with Myrielle in a quiet duet of whispered curses.

Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 1 = 17

"Good. We're getting closer to this confounded place."

"I have no dealings with the woods or nature. I'll take your word on it. Lead on."

Before Aiden can grab his backpack and set out down the road, an elderly, finely dressed man with white hair and beard walks in and tells Aiden:

"Boy, you have been summoned to Magnimar. There is urgent news about your mother. No time to argue. I'm here to take your place in this mission. Now off with you."

Aiden, having been worried about his mother's health condition for some time, asks no questions and bolts out the door.

The elderly man looks at the group and says:

"Well...looks like you all are stuck with an old grouch now. I've seen that look from Ms. Sheila before. She's ready for us to leave. Come now, you all can fill me in on the way...wherever it is we are going."

With that, Ezren lets out a little laugh and steps out onto the porch and mumbles:

"I'm getting too old for this."

Aiden was needed in a local PFS game, so I took him out before we got started. Plus, I've rarely played a wizard.
