Bonus Feat (Racial): Bretons gain a bonus feat at level 1 (level 2 in this setting), just as a human does.
Magic Resistance (Racial): Grants Spell Resistance equal to 11+character level. (Flavor: This is increased due to the Atronach Stone as well).
Dragonskin (Racial): Once per day a Breton may activate this ability to gain the benefits of the Eater of Magic rage power as if she was a raging barbarian. This ability stays active for ten rounds and the Breton is treated as entering a different rage each round at the beginning of her turn. This ability activates before spell resistance. She may only have a number of temporary hitpoints equal to her character level at any given time from this ability. The temporary hitpoints received while using this ability disappear when the ability ends.
Birthsign: The Atronach (Racial): The Atronach birthsign grants Improved Spell Resistance as a bonus feat.
Headstrong (Drawback): Whenever you witness an action or hear an argument that contradicts your alignment, you must attempt to stop or correct that action or argument. If you either don’t try to stop it or fail in your attempt to stop it (as adjudicated by the GM), you are shaken for 1 hour.
Shield-Trained (Religion Trait): Heavy and light shields are considered simple weapons rather than martial weapons for you. Heavy shields are considered light weapons for you.
Shield Bearer (Race Trait): When performing a shield bash, you deal 1 additional point of damage. Also, once per day on your turn as a free action, you may provide one adjacent ally a +2 trait bonus to his Armor Class. This bonus lasts for 1 round, so long as you and the target remain adjacent to one another. You can only use this ability if you are using a shield. You retain your shield bonus to your armor class when using this ability.
Adopted: Undead Slayer (Race Trait): You gain a +1 trait bonus to attack and damage rolls against undead.
Weapon and Armor Proficiency (Paladin): Paladins are proficient with all simple and martial weapons, with all types of armor (heavy, medium, and light), and with shields (except tower shields).
Detect Evil (Paladin): May cast Detect Evil at-will as a move action and receive the same information as if concentrating for three rounds.
Aura of Good (Paladin): You use your paladin levels to determine your aura of good when someone detects alignment on you.
Smite Evil (Paladin): 1/day gain a bonus on attack rolls and deflection bonus to AC equal to charisma modifier and a bonus to damage equal to paladin level. This damage doubles against undead.
Double Slice (Feat): Add full strength modifier to damage rolls with off-hand weapons.
Two-Weapon Fighting (Feat): Reduces the penalties for fighting with two weapons.
Improved Spell Resistance (The Atronach Birthsign/Feat): Gain a +2 to existing Spell Resistance.

Background:

Evelyn was born in Skyrim in 3E 410 in Whiterun as the daughter of two Bretic immigrants. Her parents, who had come into some farmland when a distant Nordic relative passed away, lived just outside of Whiterun's walls. Life was difficult on Evelyn's parents. In High Rock they were barely making it by as unsuccessful merchants, which lead to their acceptance of the land in Skyrim, so they had very little experience farming.

Evelyn was the youngest child of three. Her two siblings were both brothers and took to being farmhands, but when Evelyn was old enough to help carry crops to the marketplace, she was a natural with the people. After that time, she was responsible for carrying whatever needed to be sold for the day into Whiterun and peddling it to the townsfolk. As she grew into an adult, she began talking to members of the companions. It didn't take long for them to convince her to try her hand at fighting.

She was a natural. She was strong, fairly quick, and tough. She could make decisions in a sword fight quickly and she was better than most with a bow. What stuck out about her most, however, was her conviction. She was a devout follower of Stendarr and she was headstrong about her morals. Despite her being Breton, it didn't take long for her to be considered a companion.

All of this was in her free time when her parents didn't know about it of course. Eventually Evelyn turned 18. Her brothers had already somewhat taken over the farm, so she told her parents that she planned to work for the companions. After a bit of a falling out, she moved to Jorrvaskr. She has been a shield-sister since, only recently harnessing the power of her conviction, adhering to a code, and swearing herself to Stendarr as fuel for her divine might.

What Evelyn Was Doing:

Evelyn was traveling to Windhelm to help the locals deal with a zombie problem they had been having. She was on her way there with a few of her Shield-Brothers and Shield-Sisters.

Physical Description:

Picture

Evelyn is about average, perhaps even a little shorter, than most Bretons, standing at about 5'5". Her Nord friends are all quite a bit taller than her, but she's almost as stocky as most of them to make up for it. Her hips and bust are moderately sized and are tapered slightly between each other by her thicker waist. Her hands and feet are well proportioned for her body size.

She has a fair complexion and very light skin. Her facial features are soft and fairly rounded and her nose is rather petite. She has kind eyes that are dark blue in color, which contrast strikingly with her light red hair, which is almost like it's a mix of blonde and red. Interestingly, her ears have slight points which give away her elven heritage and make it fairly easy for anyone to peg her as a Breton.

Paladin Code:

1. I will uphold the good of all, no matter the price, first and foremost.

2. I swear to aggressively seek and rid the world of abominations that ridicule the sanctity of life; the living dead and the creatures of Oblivion and those that would seek control of them.

3. I will have faith in Stendarr. I will channel his strength through my body. I will shine in his legion, and I will not tarnish his glory through base actions.

4. I am the last to leave a battle. If my death would provide time for a companion to reach safety, so be it.

5. I will not be taken by my free will and I will never surrender those under my command.

6. I will never abandon a companion, though I will honor sacrifice freely given.

7. I will never break a vow unless following through with a vow means committing an evil act. Should I ever make such a vow, I must swear three vows in its place.

8. When in doubt, I may force my enemies to surrender, but I am responsible for their lives.

9. I will never refuse a challenge from an equal. I will give honor to worthy enemies, and contempt to the rest.

10. I will not suffer the evil of racial or sexual inequality, especially in the form of slavery. Should this sin be committed, the guilty will be brought to justice.
