About Evelyn MastercroftEvelyn Rose Mastercroft
Background:
Evelyn was born in Skyrim in 3E 410 in Whiterun as the daughter of two Bretic immigrants. Her parents, who had come into some farmland when a distant Nordic relative passed away, lived just outside of Whiterun's walls. Life was difficult on Evelyn's parents. In High Rock they were barely making it by as unsuccessful merchants, which lead to their acceptance of the land in Skyrim, so they had very little experience farming. Evelyn was the youngest child of three. Her two siblings were both brothers and took to being farmhands, but when Evelyn was old enough to help carry crops to the marketplace, she was a natural with the people. After that time, she was responsible for carrying whatever needed to be sold for the day into Whiterun and peddling it to the townsfolk. As she grew into an adult, she began talking to members of the companions. It didn't take long for them to convince her to try her hand at fighting. She was a natural. She was strong, fairly quick, and tough. She could make decisions in a sword fight quickly and she was better than most with a bow. What stuck out about her most, however, was her conviction. She was a devout follower of Stendarr and she was headstrong about her morals. Despite her being Breton, it didn't take long for her to be considered a companion. All of this was in her free time when her parents didn't know about it of course. Eventually Evelyn turned 18. Her brothers had already somewhat taken over the farm, so she told her parents that she planned to work for the companions. After a bit of a falling out, she moved to Jorrvaskr. She has been a shield-sister since, only recently harnessing the power of her conviction, adhering to a code, and swearing herself to Stendarr as fuel for her divine might. What Evelyn Was Doing:
Evelyn was traveling to Windhelm to help the locals deal with a zombie problem they had been having. She was on her way there with a few of her Shield-Brothers and Shield-Sisters. Physical Description:
Picture Evelyn is about average, perhaps even a little shorter, than most Bretons, standing at about 5'5". Her Nord friends are all quite a bit taller than her, but she's almost as stocky as most of them to make up for it. Her hips and bust are moderately sized and are tapered slightly between each other by her thicker waist. Her hands and feet are well proportioned for her body size. She has a fair complexion and very light skin. Her facial features are soft and fairly rounded and her nose is rather petite. She has kind eyes that are dark blue in color, which contrast strikingly with her light red hair, which is almost like it's a mix of blonde and red. Interestingly, her ears have slight points which give away her elven heritage and make it fairly easy for anyone to peg her as a Breton.
Guild of Choice:
The Fighters Guild Paladin Code:
1. I will uphold the good of all, no matter the price, first and foremost. 2. I swear to aggressively seek and rid the world of abominations that ridicule the sanctity of life; the living dead and the creatures of Oblivion and those that would seek control of them. 3. I will have faith in Stendarr. I will channel his strength through my body. I will shine in his legion, and I will not tarnish his glory through base actions. 4. I am the last to leave a battle. If my death would provide time for a companion to reach safety, so be it. 5. I will not be taken by my free will and I will never surrender those under my command. 6. I will never abandon a companion, though I will honor sacrifice freely given. 7. I will never break a vow unless following through with a vow means committing an evil act. Should I ever make such a vow, I must swear three vows in its place. 8. When in doubt, I may force my enemies to surrender, but I am responsible for their lives. 9. I will never refuse a challenge from an equal. I will give honor to worthy enemies, and contempt to the rest. 10. I will not suffer the evil of racial or sexual inequality, especially in the form of slavery. Should this sin be committed, the guilty will be brought to justice. |
