My friends, do not look to government to solve your ills. Government is a slothful beast that will not do what it promises. Rather it will take your money with a carnival barker's grin and usher you into its Sideshow of Fantastical Wonders, which will be a goat with a fake head stitched on to its neck and an old sailor with some odd tattoos.
Personal responsibility is the key. Take responsibility for yourself and your community. Don't leave everything to the government. Independent groups manage their affairs much better than the government.
