<Yeah I'm good, but I think I have found Cammy and Hanes. Will see what I can do to get them out.> Sweeper slowly walks down towards Cammy's tank. "Hey man...what's going on? Want to help me open this tank up and get her out?" As he talks, Sweeper move into a position where he can attack Hanes if needed.
<Yeah...it's pretty creepy in here. I am not sure I can save any of these people, but I will try if I can. Also looking for an entry into the main building from down here...how are thing up-top?> Sweeper examines the tanks holding the people to see if he can free any of them. If not, he will then move to the other end of the room and look for an entrance into the main building.
Ok, so I do not have disguise as a skill, so I can default it to Intuition (I believe) so I think I get 3 (Int) dice plus 6 agility dice.. Quick Change (2 hits): 9d6 ⇒ (5, 5, 4, 4, 4, 1, 5, 1, 3) = 32 3 hits Stripping the clothes of the unconscious guard, Sweeper quickly dresses and takes all his gear. He moves the tied and gagged guard out of direct sight when the elevator doors open. Doe he have a comm unit? Also this elevator, does it have regular buttons and such (so I could press a button to return to the surface or see what floor I am on??
Fumbling with his new commlink, Sweeper finally gets online with the others. "Umm, hey guys. So looks like I am in here. The guard shack has a hidden elevator that is taking me to some underground area. Seems like a pretty easy entry point. Oh, and the guards seem hopped-up on some sort of chem...brought mine down pretty easily. Anyway, I will try to get this thing back to ground level and maybe we can ride it to our destination! Sweeper out." While speaking with his team, Sweeper also searches the guard for any badges, keys or other useful items. If the guard carries any kind of restraints, Sweeper uses them on him to keep him immobilize and gags the fellow with his own clothing. Wondering if it is possible to take his uniform, or at least part of it..might make the other guards hesitate slightly to see what looks like one of their own..
Sweeper nods and starts to head into the guard shack, but keeps his senses alert. This guard is acting very weird, but if it helps them get in, he is willing to take advantage of the situation. He keys his comm twice to get the groups attention, just in case he needs help. Where is the other guard in relation to sweeper? Also Sweeper has combat senses so if thy are attempting anything, he will get a perception test to detect it.
Judge Intent: 6d6 ⇒ (1, 4, 3, 3, 1, 3) = 15 0 Hits First Aid: 4d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 1, 6) = 15 2 Hits Sweeper is very wary of a sec guard who seems this friendly. On further interaction Sweeper feels that this guard migh be under the influence of some sort of drug. "Oh, she stays at home, safe and sound. The streets are a dangerous place for kids. Any spare change would be great!" Is he the only guard at this station?
Sweeper slides out of the van well before they get near the facility. He edges closer to the building, taking care of marking where external security assets are located (cameras, motion detectors and guards) Sneaking: 10d6 ⇒ (1, 3, 2, 3, 3, 5, 5, 5, 6, 1) = 34 4 hits
Sweeper nods at Beta-Axe and heads to the van in a bit of a daze. "He said 80K, right? That...that's crazy! Plus another 20K from Neonet for showing we geeked this guy?? I'm not crazy about doing wetwork. Heck I'll kill a guy if I have to, but to snuff him in cold blood...well I just don't know." Sweeper sits in the van quietly pondering this quandary.
Beta-Axe:
<Really! That would be wiz! All this space just for me...I could set up a gym and have a real bed...wow! I hope this run goes smoothly so I can take you up on this offer...any you are welcome to come by whenever you want!! Will be like having a room mate!>
"If you want just drop me off a few block away from the place and I can set myself up to watch the area and check out some of the perimeter security. Like I said before, no one really pays much attention to street people. As well I can enlist a friend of mine to help out. She would do it for a few creds and is good and remembering stuff. "
"Sure, no problem! Sweeper sneaks across the street then come towards the vehicle from a different direction. He takes out an old rag and starts to wipe it across the vehicle's windscreen. Sneak: 10d6 ⇒ (2, 4, 2, 1, 6, 5, 2, 6, 6, 1) = 35 = 4 successes "Quick clean for ya boss! Just a few creds...nul persp! Whatever ya got in your pocket. Just need some money for food, ya know. Looking fer some action? I know where you can get some good BTL's or maybe something chemical or some companionship??" He keeps up the banter while memorizing as much about the men and anything he can see in the vehicle. Perception: 9d6 ⇒ (2, 6, 1, 4, 6, 6, 6, 2, 6) = 39 = 5 successes
"Well the masters always said any fool could pull a trigger, but mastering one's CHI allows a person to accomplish the impossible. They were very traditional at the temple, and once I was on my own..well guns cost money, and I was able to protect myself and those in my neighborhood better with my hands. That's why I am here I guess..to help with my special abilities." The young man looks a little embarrassed that he does not have the same wiz equipment as everyone else, but is quite confident in his innate skills.
"Thanks Deacon! Wiz skin there Secretary! I have a few items which may help us get into tight places" Sweeper takes out a maglock passkey, a set of lock picks and a sequencer. All the items are well cared for, if a little old. "I do not use weapons, sorry. But I am really good up close and personal, and am usually quiet enough to get near my target! Dont last long in the Barrens if you can't move quietly and take care of yourself...am I right!"
"Umm..Hi? Sorry I was late, but...the...bus...hey, where is everyone going? I just spend a weeks worth of food money to just get in here and now we're leaving?" The disheveled man follows after the group and jumps into the van. "Wiz wheels! So whats the plan? Oh, by the way, I'm Sweeper. I'm good at getting into places and really good at personal defense." He looks around the van and seems pretty impressed with the wealth shown there.
A small ruckus at the door into the club draws your attention to what looks like a homeless man in a tattered greatcoat and ratty old sneakers. After a bit of talking with the bouncer, the fellow holds out an honest to goodness 20¥ bill to the cooler. The fellow seems confused as what to do with the paper money, but after a few seconds takes the grubby bill and allows the man in. Much to your distaste, the fellow makes a bee line to your table. Up close he seems to look like an average human, but on who has fallen on hard times, or perhaps has never known good ones. While his clothes are tattered and oft-patched, they are relatively clean, and the smell you feared that might follow the fellow like a lethal miasma, is absent. "Hoi chummers. I take it this is the right place? Mr. Johnson I assume?" |
