The Greyhawk Channel presents: The Savage Tide
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=--=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= -=-

Good day everyone!

My friends and I have gotten together to stream a new campaign and I decided to bust out and convert my favorite Paizo campaign, The Savage Tide, to 5e D&D in good ol' Greyhawk.

PCs:

Finnian Cragwolf (She/her) Human Knowledge Cleric of Istus. She lives a cloistered life and gets seasick on ships! She's a delight
Korruk Montou (He/Him) Half-Orc Fighter and aspiring gladiator of the Champions district.
Daiquan Blacksail (He/Him) Human storm sorcerer and failed pirate.

feat. special guest
Bajko the Blade (He/They) Half-orc barbarian. Brash and aspiring gladiator of the champions district and possible student of Korruk!

In the link above will take you to the twitch collection of VoDs of this campaign so far. We're four sessions into it, but it's a ton of fun. Perhaps one of the best D&D campaigns I've run in years.

I've ran the Savage Tide up to book 4 a few times in my life, but this is the first time running it online on Roll20.net.

Currently, were at the end of Book 1 about to assault the Lotus Dragons.

Hello! So at least once a week I come across the same question on various RPG forums:

Quote:
How do I get started building a Sandbox/West Marches campaign?

This video is my answer to that question. It is a step-by-step walk through on how to begin the campaign design journey and build an adventuring region for a fantasy campaign.

I know it's a long video (90 minutes) and I'm a nobody, but if you give it a look, you'll see how I demonstrate:

  • how to start populating a map with terrain
  • How to create dynamic conflicts
  • How to use conflicts as ideas for adventures, towns, ruins, and other locales.

This video's finished files are here:

Thank you very much for reading and viewing and I'd love to hear if this process worked for you!
